Hey, I totally get your question. For resolution, can you please verify that whether you have added the proper header file or not in your code. If already added then you can check for the folder from where you're running the file because it matters if error is coming from "Cmake". Try to run your program from "/ns3/scratch". If problem still carries, Then you might have done some mistake while initially setting up process of NS3 and you might need to reconfigure NetAnim in that case.

Thanks for raising the question. First of all , if you want to simulate the IoT system and all that stuff then you can use contiki OS . Which is a Linux based OS made of special purpose and secondly I am researching on injection of pcap files.
