Of course it can be done. Many Honda C90 owners have toured across whole countries including one or two round the world. The most important two things are 1) reliability and access to spare parts and 2) Ability to store luggage. For that reason scooters are often better than 125cc motorcycles because many of them have large under seat storage in addition to bags and panniers. You do not have to go via A roads and indeed it is more satisfying if you don't, but if you need to A roads are perfectly fine (when allowed). The Motorcycle press and manufacturers are always telling you 125cc is not enough. It's nonsense.

Dual carriageway is easier if you take the emphasis off what's in front of you and place more on what's behind. To do that u need a good pair of mirrors, of which u have none. Also plan your trip to include some B roads where they run parallel and don't make your destinations so ambitious. The advantage of doing this is if the weather turns bad u can always take the duals which will get u there much quicker if need be.

It´s all fine exept the Phone as Sat Nav Part. Take a Garmin it will save you a lot of unecessary miles because the route finding on google is an hot pot of garbage. Google is fine in close proximity but not long range and thats not even a small amount of miles. Depending on wich Route even on shorter ones it can be easy 40-50 miles on Top via Google. The rest is pure mentality. And don´t be afraid of Motorways. Take your given right to drive in the middle of the slower left or right lane depending in wich country you are riding. No one is Mental enough to Hit you from Behind and Ruin his car on purpose. Search yourself an nice truck, follow him in safe Distance and you can Safe a tiny bit of Fuel on Top. Under normal Circumstance you are even far from the limiter of your bike because Asphalt on Motorways is much faster than on other roads.

I used to cycle 100km a day. I used to ride a 49cc moped 300-400km a day and a 109cc scooter 500km a day! Now I have a 120cc one I think I will continue riding 500km a day again!

short answer: yes. I've done 2x120 mile trips and a 115 mile trip in the space of three days. Might not sound like much to some of you guys but it was all pre-first-service.

My daughter and I did a 1,000 mile tour with camping gear on our 150cc Vespa and Lance scooters in the US in June of this year. Just have to pick your roads and be content with 50 - 55 mph cruising.

I plan to get a 125 when i turn 17 and take it through europe to greece. Hoping it will take 4 days, averaging 550 miles a day, probably cruising around 65/70 most the time. Just hope the bike can last the journey.

Nice one. Please make a video on adding a switch somewhere on handle bar that could on/off the restricted mode. Also would be a great idea to put links for the toolkits and parts just to do that. Referral links ;)

Long range is not a problem with a 125cc bike. I made a trip from Germany to Greece with my 125cc scooter. You are limited with stuff you can take with you. I had a 55l military rucksack, a big wool blanket, a tarp, a sleeping mat and two 2l bottles with fuel. A good friend of mine made a trip from Germany to Portugal with his east german Simson 50cc scooter, he was 16 back then. Best wishes.

I was just thinking that you should have bought frozen pizza to cook at home and then I realised that that was exactly what you had when you got back anyway! Great fun! When you get all old as fuck like me you will be happy to have panniers but life will be less fun to be fair! Go well guys.

I feel a heated bar grip installation episode coming on. There does need to be more beginner resource for new bikers. My wife was up for biking but was completely novice and she couldn’t take to the bike on the day with all the others being fairly experienced. She tried again but she lost confidence and gave up so now I am all biked up with nobody to ride with. At least you now know why people were so worked up about Biden being declared the winner!

The subscribers will come because the personality is right and the format is tried and tested. I have come back to biking after 40 years and I am still on CBT with a Varadero 125. I think that the bike license rules were as much about producing a business model that is self funded rather than government funded. One test and age restrictions for power would have been easier but wouldn’t have generated a self funded industry. I wish you would put your mirrors back on!😂
