It depends on various factors Including health of leave, it's bottom side should be plucked not cut... Secondly the weather should be humid but not so hot or cold... Thirdly, any rooting.booster and proper covering and moisture maintenance required... Overall an uphill task but gerbera can be grown with this methods

DO NOT WATER IT EVERYDAY IT WILL KILL THE PLANT. What you need to do is repot it into a better soil and only water it when the top 1-2 inches of the soil feels dry to touch. Your welcome.

Dear, Ideal is rainy season or semi shady area with some moist in air, Use sharp and clean knives, Always use brown cutting and stem for grafting, Properly fix the cutting and tighten it with plastic tape. Then cover the whole grafting stick with plastic bag. Do not over water, only water when upper soil is dry. GOOD luck with your gardening..
