The string has to move easily through the needle. Size 2/yarn works perfect. And you must have lots of slack in the yarn. You got it! 🎉🎉🎉

Yes! Once I got new yarn that was a smaller size, it worked so much better. I am definitely seeing which brands I like over others.

Hi Sara. I take my puzzles apart within a day of putting them together. Sometimes in as few as 5 minutes after I finish. I put them back in the box inside a plastic zipper bag and apply two pieces of tape to keep the box closed. After I get a good pile going I call one of my friends who also puzzles. She comes over and picks the ones she wants. The rest get donated to the library for their book sales or to a charity shop.

I need a friend to come swap puzzles with me haha donating them to the library is such a good idea! I'll have to contact my local one and see if they would take any.

Love this, I am also staring this journey I’m still in the trial and error stage. I need to find the right fabric. I purchased muslin fabric but you can not scratch off the holes when the yarn doesn’t stay 😞 I have a new punch needle coming from Amazon hopefully it’s just the needle.

I got my fabric from walmart - its 100% cotton. I really like it. My issues were all from the yarns I was using. Definitely trial and error. The kit punch needle I used was 👎 also!

I did the fruit one a while ago. Beautiful image but it was a constant frustration of false fits. I love the dollar tree puzzles from puzzlebug/artbox. Thin pieces, but great fun for the price. As for after completing a puzzle, I break them down and put them back into the box in a storage bag. Either I keep them in my collection to redo them, or I pass them along to someone else to enjoy. Sometimes they sit out for up to a week, but I don't glue mine. I would be worried about having too many out and stacked. If they were to get knocked over or fall it would lead to a huge mess and I wouldn't want to try to sort and confirm that all the pieces are found for each puzzle.

So far, only one puzzle has been knocked over haha I really need to find a better solution. Might just pack up the ones I know for sure I won't be gluing or keeping!

Well, four things: - Some I break down and put back in the box to keep because I do want to assemble them again. - Some I glue and place in a puzzle portfolio, or place on post board backing, or frame and hang. - Some I break down and put aside for puzzle swapping/exchanging. - And some I take to Goodwill (but this will probably fall off the list because Goodwill is not showing as truly honorable).

Cute designs, have never tried those brands before. I have a feeling your brothers room will become a full blown puzzle room haha, puzzling/buying puzzles is too addictive. When I'm done with my puzzles I leave them out for a few days to admire them then they get taken apart and put back into the box. If you want to keep your puzzles together but not display them you could buy a puzzle storage folder. :)

Ohhh I'll have to look into the puzzle storage folder! I might put some back in the box and just store some! I'm running out of room haha

The youtube puzzling community is super supportive, welcome! There's a great app called Puzzle Tracker with a place for pics, seems like having this makes it easier to pack up a puzzle and do another 😊

I like the A-Z challenge but I imagine it can get difficult to find titles for all the letters! 😂😂 I’d love to try it, have you done that challenge before?
@SeamlesslyCreating2 жыл бұрын
I tried it last year, but I did a terrible job keeping track of my reading and books. I also didn't start seriously tracking until October... We'll see how good I do this year! I'm predicting some book hauls specifically to complete that challenge!

I posted my Reading Journal set up on the same day as you! It weeks me two weeks of planning and sketching to get mine where I was ready to ink it in on camera. Followed by 6 hours of film! Final video was 20 minutes long and I could not get it shorter then that...lol I am so glad I found your channel. New sub and I am so looking forward to seeing your reading journey this year. I would love to see your monthly pages and how you use your reading journal. This is my first one EVER and I am so loving it so far! *fingers crossed* that I can keep it up for the full year.

@@SeamlesslyCreating Aww that would be very kind of you. Yeah I can only guess how much prep work. I mostly did printable and collage but just drawing in the boxes and organizing the pages was a HUGE undertaking! Yours turned out so lovely though.
