Watching reviews after I tried it because it dried my hair out so bad. I usually use the Garnier Sleek & Shine Keratin shampoo and conditioner and it makes my hair feel like silk so I am super bummed out by this deep treatment. I had to condition again after using it and my hair was still dry. Maybe healthier but it doesn't feel like it. Anyway... I really just wanted to say that you have beautiful hair. I wish I had that texture and it looks so healthy. Just stunning.

Thank you so much 😊❤️ also Garnier and a lot of products have silicone which make your hair feel amazing regardless if they are actually working for your hair or not. But I’m sorry this didn’t work for you! I did love it but sadly not all products work for everyone 😩 I will say, i just finished it and not sure if I would buy it again. I liked it a lot but not enough to become a favorite

It doesn’t have enough protein in it to be a protein treatment. But The curlsmith bond rehab salve is more of a protein treatment . Personally, I think the curlsmith is less strong then aphogee so i think it would be helpful if your protein sensitive

@@curlyrealtor I avoid getting silk presses for this very reason, but I had to yesterday because my stylist was very slow and I decided for her not to braid my hair and clip extensions

Needed this there are practically NO reviews of the line and although I'm not desperate I am highly tempted by a more affordable supposed bond repair. Shea Moisture has never failed me and if it's a legit bond repair then I may need it 🔥

When a person has spent time, $ & energy on something that they DO NOT want to have to repeat BEFORE it is time. ALSO---damage would occur IF the person attempts to flat iron AGAIN in order to restore straightness. Huh interesting. I just use the terry cloth headband with a shower cap. But I also have shaved sides so i don't have to worry about edges getting wet lol. we do what works for us, right! 🥰

The shower cap being over my head stops me from sweating , where if i had fabric over my hair it would make my head hotter. Not sure why lol but with trial and error that’s what i realized worked for me

Shea moisture curl smoothie is a leave in styler that i use to give my hair moisture. I like to use Jamaican black castor oil for my ends to seal the moisturizer.

Looked great until I saw the polyquat-10 in the leave-in. 😩 Anything that builds up is a huge no for my hair. I hope they haven’t done this to all of their lines. It’s the only line I use for my hair and slowly running out and needing to stock up again. 😒

Yes of course, it’s made for all hair types! I do have a friend with wavy hair who thinks the leave in is too thick but if you use a little it will go a long way. So try it out ! ESPECIALLY THE MASK. No matter your hair type it works wonders!!
