the first boat I dont think sunk, on older google maps versions where it would have been it wasnt there, but then it randomly appeared on the beach, it was never underwater in that spot.

Could you put a small boat in there? I used the ramp nearby last time but the mat almost shredded my trailer tires.

Jet ski tip. Don't rev the engine up in anything less that 2 feet of water. It will suck rocks into the impeller and ruin it. Ask me how I know haha

Very pretty footage. Hopefully the lake will rise but such hot weather....... At least one family has had closure about a drowned relative. For them, this was meant to be. Maybe you could tie your sandals to your person or the machine til needed. Take care

My parents owned a doublewide Mobile home at the Overton Beach on Lake Mead. I started going there in 1972 was my favorite place on earth I went there every year for at least two weeks until 2008. On the trip I realized this lake is so dramatically reduced and it’s becoming a danger to boat on. I told my wife and kids this is our last trip here I don’t wanna further damage the memories that I have of this beautiful lake by watching it demise😎

It is usually what you find in the DESERT. Not much including water & people. Mother Nature biting man's folley hard.

You’re a little late with this update… when did you film this? Didn’t this one close back in May? Hemenway Harbor is the only boat launch open and it’s going down fast there too. They’ve had to move that Marina twice in the last month or so and the last time was 80’ because it was already starting to get lodged in the mud after it moved a few weeks earlier.

Appreciate that you must have walked several miles for all of us to see what the marinas conditions are like. Could not help but notice the large roll around tool boxes on the right side of the walkway going into the 1st part of the marina. Imagine having to push that large tool boxes filled with tools all that distance!! At least the boaters are prepared to repair the boats if needed.

No need to fix the boats, they will set down nicely on the DESERT FLOOR as the water that isn't supposed to be there disappears . . .

If you think that a little rain and a little snow pack is going to bring Lake Mead, Back. Your out of reality..If you were to get 10 times the water this year all a long the Colorado..It wouldn't be enough... Do the math or ask the bureau of reclamation to do the math .. Before you talk...
