Here's how I do mine. Turn off the magneto, give it full choke and crank it two full turns. Then, turn on the magneto, turn off the choke and crank it just as you were.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Did you ever get it to run good? I just stumbled on your video and it’s 3 years ago now.

This one was restored when I purchased it so I don’t know where the line and tank came from.

I’m currently doing a series on my channel on getting my Sixty running. I first saw it at my neighbor’s over 50 years ago but never saw it run, hope to in the next couple of months. They may not be the rarest but definitely among the coolest I think.
@oldamericaniron57672 жыл бұрын
Could that engine be original to it, if it is I would think it would be among the earliest excavators with a Cat diesel.👍

Thanks for the video. On my Speeder the house opposite the operator is angled back so operator has better view to the right.
@oldamericaniron57672 жыл бұрын
Would love to see more of the Speeder. It must have been repowered with a Cat, what engine? I’m interested in it as I have a Speeder I saved from a scrap yard. Mine was a shovel but engine and shovel front were missing. I have a home built shovel front I’d like to put on it one day and a gas Buda for a power plant all I have to do is live long enough. One interesting note is mine has 3 drums, that may have been how they handled the crowd and retract. Hope to see more of it! Thanks for video.

I own one of these. Can I run it with the gas on gravity instead of siphon?

Just found this. I have one of those or at least part of one. That one must have been repowered with a Cat Diesel as Link-Belt bought out Speeder before Cat built diesels. Mine was a shovel but is missing the shovel front and power unit and house is all bent up but complete. I have a Buda gas I would like to put in it and a homemade shovel front from another machine, all I have to do is live long enough. Haha. Thanks for posting.

Now if we had someone who knew how to hold a camera and not shake it all over the place like a loser on drugs. And then you cut the video off before they even do anything. Typical democrat idiots with no brains.
