Is SAT given by 6th graders?

I feel like you could’ve named this video in a better way, you might be privileged and your family has money which is fine but that explains why is wasn’t hard for you. But not everyone has the same opportunities and it is in fact hard for the most of us to achieve that score. But thank you for sharing tips to help others.

Everyone says SAT test u on test taking not on knowledge or ability. Honesty, that’s cops. There’s a reason why colleges are valuing it as soon as they can after COVID, especially Tops. There’s a reason why there’s a correlation between college success and the SAT. The SAT is a test on commitment, and most importantly, how perfect you can be and attribute as minimal as possible to “human error”

If you study well, you will do well on the sat, if you don’t study you will do bad on it. If you study well in college, you will do well in college, if not, you will do bad. Huge correlation there. It really is only about test taking. The SAT is not hard enough to test how smart you are, it’s only there to test how hard you can study for a test, which is very important in college in determining your success. You study in college, you pass, if not, you will fail. That is where the correlation comes from.

@@dabossbabie3605 lmao it may measure something for americans because of how fucked our education system is. anyone who's educated themselves outside the school system understands how much they've missed. the SAT tests absolutely nothing besides rudimentary basics. what you can learn from taking standardized tests is scant. in order to learn much of what the SAT tests, students often overpay because (again) schools seldom teach anything substantive. hence, there is a correlation between socioeconomic background and SAT scores (same goes with the former variable and college success).

1. Being naturally smart doesn't exist. Don't listen to people who say they're naturally smart and don't have to study. Not studying is a self-destructive habit. 2. SATs are a standard given to nearly every high school in the US. They only cost $60. This isn't a lot of money at all. A standard SAT will only take 2ish hours. It won't take much of your time. 3. Taking 10-30 mins a day to study your SAT is all you need. The SAT only goes to Algebra II, it's not exactly super hard math or reading concepts you need to wrap your head around. Being consistent is the hardest part, but for 10-30 mins a day it shouldn't be too hard. Don't study for hours and hours a day, you will burn yourself out.

@AH-fm2ex That's not true at all. Being smart in one thing doesn't make you smart is everything. A person that doesn't forward the habit of studying will hit a wall they can't get around. Simply because they're not smart in the subject. Just the same as sports, someone who's naturally gifted but never practices will hit a wall. Being intelligent isn't being naturally gifted. It's a the willingness to learn.

Just one step I didn't know about: I thought about doing Pythagoreans theorem, but I didn't know that the diagonal of the rectangle was the diameter of the circle. If I known that I think I would have gotten it. But I did learn something new. It's been about 20 years since my last math class.

When the diagonals of a cyclic quadrilateral are diameter of a circle then it is rectangle, using this Diagonal = Diameter ² = 16² + 12² Diameter = 20 unit Area of the circle = pie(10)² unit² = 100 pie unit² Area of the rectangle = 16 × 12 = 192 unit² Required Area = (100pie - 192) unit²

All of the math on the SAT is actually relatively simple. The difficulty is in the unique ways they propose problems, and the short time limit you have on sections.
@drgecko2191
@drgecko2191 3 ай бұрын
Yeah, but can’t you logic that out? You can find the area of the rectangle and get it down to the last two answers, then see what the radiuses that the answers propose the circle has. Here, only J and K have -192, so it’s down to them. K proposes that the circle has a radius of 20, which is impossible since the rectangles length is longer than the radius and smaller than 20, so that just leaves J with a proposed radius of 10, which makes sense, right?
