It is funny because I've sent this lens two times. First time, they've sent the lens back and said that they don't see the fault. The second time, they changed the zoom ring... After this "repair" body bends only in one place instead of three :) Fuji in Poland official statement is, that this noise and poor build quality is normal. I've had another pair of this lens before and everything was build like a tank exactly like your copy. I sold this lens and I'm slowly looking for another system. I think I'm going to abandon Fuji system. It is not a first time when some Fuji's lenses look like a plastic toy. It's a shame that Fuji refuses that fact, and send people back with toy for $900.

@@matlugo I'm so sorry to hear that. And I understand your sentiment. I think I would probably feel the same way if something like that happened to me. But in my case I don't think I could leave fuji. I feel good when I hold one of those beautiful cameras. I feel like I wanna go out and shoot. I feel like I want to set up my studio and bring a friend to make a portrait. I don't get that with any other camera (even though I understand the appeal of other brands). Anyway, I really wish you the best.

Fuji has already fixed this problem under warranty :)
