For this, you can use the AutoRun CD/DVD functionality presented here: www.advancedinstaller.com/autorun.html - this is available starting with the Enterprise paid edition and you can access it by searching "autorun" in the left search menu.

Hi Alex, i got stuck with one situation and need your guidance in solving it. We have our own .apk file for android devices, these are custom in-house developed applications, i want to deploy the application to Android Fully Managed devices (Since the device belongs to company). I did it before with publishing them to google play store as a private app but now the size is the problem as it exceed 200MB, so i cannot use this option. I tried with deploying them as Line of Business application but its been 2 days nothing shows on device and even in intune portal it neither failed or success. Question: How to deploy your custom .apk files to android fully managed devices if the file size se more than 200MB? Appreciate your advice and guidance on this matter as i got stuck here from last one week.

Why do all anti-virus programs detect every .exe file made with this application as a virus?

This kind of false-positive detection sometime occur and the only way to deal with them is to first make sure your application is digitally signed with a code signing certificate (EV code sigining is even better). Then, you need to contact all the antivirus vendors that flag you and submit a false positive take down request. Hello! You don't get the option because you've probably created a .Net Framework app instead of a .Net core. In your scenario, simply select all your project files, press 'OK' and you are done. You can go on with the next steps.

Hello! This may happens if you selected the "Archive installation files using LZMA compression" option for the Archive. Instead of packaging the files into Cabinet files embedded in the MSI, the files are stored into an archive.

Hello! If you mean to launch your updater from the MSI Installer interface that is not recommended, the updater must not interfere with the actual installation. If an MSI is build as an update, then itself it will handle the neccesary updates. For other updating scenarios you can use your own built updater and you can either place a shortcut in Start Menu, run a Task Scheduler daily such as Chromium to check for updates, or even place a call inside your app code to launch the updater each time the application is started to see if there are any updates.

I am trying the same steps for NetCore Wpf App but does not work. I can not add reference of System.IO.Compression to my NetCore app. This is the only step which is not same with the vide. I'd appreciate any help.

Hello! It should be included by default in later versions of .NET Core. If it's not included in your project, you can manually add it by opening the project file (.csproj) and adding the <PackageReference Include="System.IO.Compression" Version="4.3.0" /> element within the <ItemGroup> section. Then, restore the packages by running the 'dotnet restore' command in the terminal. Hope this helps, good luck!
