Love it. Amazing video Is that a B bender guitar he's using? At 2:49 Phil Lynott ? 3:04 Hewie Lewis ? Nick Lowe at the end ("Listen Youve obviously you've read my pamphlet ..!" ) OK ... off onto a KZfaq adventure ...

This was my introduction to Albert Lee thanks to Dave Edmunds of whom I was a fan. Saw Rockpile at the Decorum Hemel Hempstead and some year later Albert at Wavendon Stables. Had a chat with him and what a lovely humble man. I mentioned Tommy Emmanuel to him and he said HE'S a great guitarist. I said your not so bad yourself Albert. Thank you Dave.

Beautiful playing and singing. I'm 71 and dying of cancer, just started playing the ukelele. I got one on Amazon for $60. I tried to play this song. Tell me your honest opinion. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/itN4ldOU37Sbp2g.htmlsi=6P5Tylh7ZwZn6z1E

Hi Al - Thank you for the reply !! I was overjoyed to find this on KZfaq. It was not only my late brother’s favourite song and so pulls at my heart strings but I lived in Thornaby many years ago and met my wife while at Middleton St George College. The north-east is therefore dear to me also. If I may, next time I’m up, I’ll try and call in to one of your sessions. Where do you meet ??

Whenever I feel like watching pure unadulterated beautiful guitar playing….oozing with taste, elegance, pizazz, musicality, clicheless licks….I go and watch this clip…had the pleasure years ago watching and shaking hands with the man in a teeny weeny club in my hometown…..he is just as kind as he is a mindboggling player…..

Hi Alan, I really love your version of this song. I want to learn this song for an old lady with dementia. I asked her if she remembers a song from her youth and she said this one. I didn't know it before, but it's so fun. So, the chords I found online seem to be different than yours and I couldn't play it with them. Could you maybe write them down for me? It would help me a lot.
