MTB being on paved is also true in Indonesia. Maybe because people begin to cycle as a sport, during the MTB boom. Or, MTB is just cheaper and safer than road bikes of the time.

I like how you go into the basics and essentials of cycling. The adaptation of your bike instead of buying another, the exploration and trying different cycling "styles", managing resources! we all know how expensive cycling has turned last couple of years. All-around bikes are indeed the most versatile bike one can have, always considering our surroundings and where we live, where we can go and ride, etc. Nice video man :)

For a titanium road bike, a weight of 6,4 kg is really impressive. Many congrats👍. That being said, I'd like to underscore as follows: (1) the weight of the disc brakes has been solved with rim-brakes. (2) the weight of the titanium frame (heavier than the carbon one) has been compensated by using the Clavicula crankset. Talking about this crankset, recently it has disappeared, in Italy at least. Unluckily😥

Absolute nonsense, avoid this snakeoil salesman. You can fit on most bike brands, there are many adjustable mechanisms on bikes and the body is also adaptable. He will let you pedal and somehow eyeball a "perfect dimension" for your bike. Yeah right, he is somehow convincing some people that bike fitting and bike riding is rocket science in which he is your savior for maximum bike nirvana. Bikes and bikefitting are simpler than you think it is. Go to a reputable bike fitter instead of this guy and save money.

“Save your money , don’t mind this guy. All those videos are fake. For sure all scripted. Seems like the same for the past decade.” But why the long comment if it’s truly nonsense?. Always the eagerness and consistency to comment to convince everyone to avoid these videos that do not follow the narrative. the dedication you show in crafting such a lengthy critique is truly impressive. Your passion for dissecting this content reveals an earnest desire to seek authenticity. However, let us not forget that time is our most valuable asset. Instead of channeling your energy into dismantling what you perceive as snake oil, consider redirecting it towards building something of true value and impact. Remember, a relentless focus on growth and progress will always overshadow the shadows cast by doubt and skepticism. Rise above the noise, champion excellence. Share a video that proves your claims & keep the conversation healthy

"Think of bike fitting as an ART not a science" each to his own, every bike fitter will have their own way of fitting you on your bike, or recommending a bike fit for you (that includes their own corresponding prices, in the end it's still a business). But there is one fact in this: a bike that fits you is a comfortable one. That's why I think a custom bike is not a bad idea if you can afford it.

@@NiteFPS thanks for sharing! Yes i have been to a few commercial bikefitters but it seem that my problem does not go away. Numb hands, lower backpain even with using expensive tools like Retul or IDmatch. Looking at this channel as a last option.

@@dexterlow9302 Have you considered your own fitness level? Sometimes you could try changing everything from your bike, bikefitter, etc. and still nothing works. maybe it's time to see if the problem is within your athletic capacity. Sometimes improving core muscles and flexibility can give you more comfort than changing gear and it's free!

Nice video! You explained the advantages of gravel bikes really well. When I see someone riding on a gravel in terrain, it looks like it must be really uncomfortable. I always think "just get a hardtail" or something. But I guess gravel is faster on better roads, and like you said, sometimes you can't have two bikes. Btw, usually for the price of one gravel, you could easily get like two mid tier MTBs 😄 Probably because gravel is the hot trend now.

Nothing wrong with building a light bike but if you are on a budget, bike's weight doesn't matter if you are not a pro cyclist and 12sec-45secs of time in a 10kms ride difference doesn't matter to you.

She has a hunch in her shoulders. On the bike she is staring down at the floor. On the road she has to look forward to see forwards. Have a look at how Julian Alaphilipe sits and you'll see a big difference. His chest is open neck is upright, lower back straight (even in slight extension going up a hill). I've never heard about bio mimickry, but I've been riding a bike for 40 years. If I wanted to get low, my pelvis would be rotated and lumbar spine fairly straight, and I'd be looking up with my shoulders wide and open. I don't see why a recreational rider needs to get that low, and if they do, why not put aero bars on? A beginner will have a different position than an experienced pro and to hold a low position, you need strong abs and core.
