I really think that this scooter is going to be a blueprint for even better commuter scooters to come. You have the Apollo app that with a paid subscription your scooter can be tracked and turned off I believe by Apollo..... Self.healing tires......stats, analytics and service setup all in the app....very smooth and stable ride....bigger tires handle rough roads better.....regenerative brakes help you save your drum brakes which means less maintenance.....you also have a LOTess going on aesthetically with this scooter.....there aren't a whole bunch of wires and buttons all over the place. Setup is clean and efficient. .....so much more....but the lighting on the Pro is so sickkkk you can customize colors for the stem....deck....signals and braking.... Lol all of those functions can have their own color...... This just helps break up the monotony of the scooter and keeps it looking fresh and clean......

@GearWave 22 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! So glad that I could help you purchase this phenomenal scooter. Use some Lithium spray lubricant and spritz a little in the crevasses by the fender and drum brake assembly. Once I did that the noise went away. Also if you ride in rain you need to make sure to wipe down the scooter after ..... I've been applying a bit of WD-40 after drying to remove any excess moisture and then I spray lube the front spring bolts.....drum brake assembly and I side the folding mech as well. You don't want parts to get super dry or rust. I'm not exactly sure exactly where.the noise is coming from but lubing that front area a bit should remedy the issue. I'm gonna do a follow up review soon please stay tuned.

Pro owner here... (63, M, 180 lbs.) Purchased on IndieGoGo... $3,500 US... Pricing is a little different now, as it does NOT include the iOT unit, nor the quad lock 'charging mount'... but those are available for purchase, with relatively easy installation. First e-scooter I've ever ridden/owned. Not wanting to kill myself, I have been building up speed as I feel comfortable, currently set max speed is 50 km/h. Have received and installed the new latch, and that FREE upgrade also includes a new grip tape just for the tail. (new orders will already have those upgrades off the line). As for power, more than enough for my old bones. lol. The only hill test I've done, was back when I had it set for 35 km/h max. Long hill, approximately 20-25 degrees... held top speed effortlessly, and stopping for a restart mid hill, it easily(quickly, zoomed back up to max(35 km/h). I too, find the suspension a tiny bit firm, being 60 lbs lighter than you. I have the front shock set to minimum. The app has worked flawlessly for me(Apple 14 Pro Max), except for one time, this morning, actually. Popped into a convenience store with the scooter only software locked(Park)... when I came out, it didn't connect, and wanted my Apollo password to unlock it, which, I had forgotten since I use facial recognition for security, but it gave me the option to have a code emailed, which came instantly, and worked flawlessly. (also, re: the app, the newest update is now out, but so far, just for Android... Apple is about 3 to 4 weeks away, if I recall correctly). Only had one "fall"... can't really call it a crash or a wipeout, since I was just slow speed maneuvering while cornering sharply between closely spaced bollards. No damage to the scooter, or me, lol, except the left signal cover did crack and scuff up, but it still works as designed. Oh, on that point, the Pro(now?) comes with two spare signal covers in the toolkit. So far, the only tool I've had to add to the included kit was another set of Allen keys, since the latch replacement required two 5mm keys. On that topic, the included, free toolkit, which comes in a very nicely organized case, includes the following... Hand air pump, with a separate 7-8 inch extender. Wheel wrench.(double ended 45 degree handle, with separate socket). Allen key set. COMPLETE set of ALL screws, bolts, etc, with a nice set of drawings and description of where each one goes, and exact specs of each one if you need to replace it. Oh, and of course, the two spare signal covers. My only (minor) issues with the toolkit are... no tire gauge, and, from watching, just for amusement, a lot of their maintenance/repair vids, it seems more than one job(the latch replacement, for example), require two of the same size Allen keys, so a second set would be good to include. Regen braking seems pretty effective, but then again, 60 lbs less than yourself. PLUS, you must remember, I have nothing to compare ANY of this to, since this is the only scooter I've ever ridden.(not even a little kick scooter when I was a kid, but, I'm an avid mountain biker, and used to ride high speed skateboards when I was younger). Not sure if I had anything more to respond to from your vid, but I will skim through again and edit this to include anything I forgot. Anyone considering this, or any Apollo scooter, who may have questions you want the company to answer, can tune into their weekly KZfaq Live, and ask away. It runs every Friday, at 11:30 pm, Mountain time(my time zone, lol). Again, with no other reference, I have no problem with highly recommending this scooter.✌🏼🇨🇦

Thank you for making this video and please keep them coming. I don't own any Apollo Scooter as their way too expensive for what I could get (in my opinion) for the money but I do like their products though especially in Aesthetics, I believe design-wise they make the most beautiful scooter (yet) and they are leaps and bounds in terms of app integration plus, from what I've heard, hands down best in customer support/service. Hence I understand the hefty price tag Not here to argue which is better but I got a Maxfun 10 pro and in terms performance per dollar-wise it blows Apollo Pro out of the water however I do understand why Apollo still has a big following regardless - just like in the mobile space, when there's an Apple, there'll always be an Android vice versa.

I had gotten the inmotion rs lite (midnight edition from voro motors) about 6-7 weeks ago and had a minor crash, so the front deck lights and front motor had stopped working and then they sent me a free controller to try and fix the error, but that hadn't worked so I emailed them again 2 weeks ago and they are sending me a free control hub thingy and hopefully that'll work. I had also experienced speed wobbles at 45 mph+ (I weigh 170 lbs). I did see a video from the average guy 1983 on a solution to the steering damper though for under $20 or so. I think the scooter is pretty good and worth the price, but the only complaint I had with it was how long it took for them to email me back or to find a solution to my problem, but they did send the parts in for free within 60 days of buying the scooter, so I think that balances out my complaint. I also don't think there are any scooters that are better for the price currently and even though I got to only ride the scooter with the back motor working, it is sooooo much fun to ride, so if you are thinking of buying another scooter than this one, I would save up a little more and get the kaabo wolf king gt pro, just cause the battery is bigger and I think it might be better for offroading (I did offroading on the inmotion and I would definitely recommend buying offroad tires if you are planning on riding in loose gravel, cause it got hard to handle and was exhausting with the twist throttle and I will be buying the thumb throttle from the inmotion website (riding in grass is just fine with this scooter))

That's a very good question.....I can't be sure without knowing if your riding a scooter right now....if so, what is the height of your current stem? 5'6 riders in my mind would need to concentrate on this because your substantially shorter....I'm 6ft so you may be right at the borderline of what is a acceptable rider height for your height. I would just base your decision on the sizing of your current scooter. Of you don't have ancooter then you will have to take a test ride. Thanks again for watching...

I just put about 20 miles (30kms) on my 2023 Apollo Phantom (the Pro's little brother), and I'm 195lbs + ~10 lbs of gear & backpack. I use the regen brakes 100% of the time, but I put a set of hydraulics on it for emergency stops at high speeds. Regen is incredible (always set to max 10) for *planned* stops but high speed immediate stops, you need actual brakes. It's got about 1400 miles on the odometer so far (2350 kms). I'm definitely planning on getting a Pro soon. I want it so I can ride in the rain (my Phantom is IP54, only 'splash-proof'). The IP66 rating is a huge deal - and the tires are so far the best I've seen on an e-scooter. On a slight downhill but not in LUDO mode, I made it to 71km/h (44mph) before I chickened out & realized I'm on 10" tires, not 12" ones like on the Pro. I had to crouch a bit but it felt like it had a bit more. Plenty fast for my Apollo, but I always want "more". Something important about Apollo's 2023-2024 lineup is, all their batteries are UL certified. Apartment buildings with evil landlords are trying to ban e-bikes & e-scooters due to battery fires. Insurance companies are trying to meet these landlords half way by at least requiring UL certification. It's a standard that ensures batteries won't spark or overheat from overuse, over current, overcharging, etc, and they can handle the rapid charge levels safely.

@GearWave
@GearWave 2 ай бұрын
Mileage depends on the riders weight, power mode selected on the scooter and the terrain your going to be riding. More hilly challenging terrain at higher outputs will deplete then attery faster... Cruise in mode 1 or 2 then you can squeeze out more range. Everybodies range will be different because we all ride differently. The longer you ride the scooter the more you will familiarize yourself with the range you will be able to achieve based on your riding habits and environment.

Use some down wash .....once you take the jacket out of the wash.....hold it up or hang it up and spray the majority of the spray on areas more prone to wetness like the head....shoulders and outside arms....THEN you can go to the back and sides.... Rub the excess spray in downward straight motions....so that no excess stay on the surface of the jacket.....next throw it in the dryer on the lowest setting with at least 2 to 3 tennis balls... That thing will puff up like craaaazy....and now you have an invisible shield on the exterior of your jackets fabric that will cause most of the rain to bead up....and not soak into the fabric...
