That is the amphitheater of Ephesus that is shown while a point is made of games being held. But the games were actually held in the much larger coliseum that is located in another part of Ephesus.

"The Nile river is the Nile river". What an amazing revelation! The filiming is great but some of the narrative and editing is a too simplistic and unworthy of the camera work. Talking about Luxor they interject footage of Abu Simbel, which is not in Luxor. The significance of the Exodus was the foundation of Judaism which was over one thousand years before the presumed birth of Christ. Moses was the forebear of Jews, Christians and Muslims. So if the children of Moses are the chosen ones then those of all three religions are of equal status under God not just Christians.

So good to see an old school type production - a real crew working together, filming real locations and putting together their journey on record in real time. Can't beat this !

The Cairo museum is worth the trip by itself! To Stan before the great pyramids on the Giza plateau and the trip down the Nile is amazing. Cairo is a very poor city and extremely overcrowded. 18-20 mill when I was there. Men had to be 35 years old to get married and women 25 because of the overcrowding. That was in 2010. Always have change and singles because everywhere you go, someone wants to help you with something or sell you something. Peddlers can be very aggressive so beware.

Now you need to go to Arabia to the real Mt. Sinai.
@appianmedia3 күн бұрын
The “Arabia” spoken of by Paul in the 1st century actually covered a significantly larger area than modern day Saudi Arabia, including the area that is known as the Sinai Peninsula. In fact, most of the suggested locations of Mount Sinai can be found in what he called “Arabia.” We know that there are compelling reasons for a few different sites for Mt. Sinai, the exact crossing of the Red Sea, and other locations pertaining to the Exodus. This debate has been raging for centuries and likely will continue to do so, because despite what many will say - no one knows for sure. Identifying these specific sites is not the goal of our documentary series, but rather to highlight the biblical historical account of the Exodus and what it means to each of us today. We pray that it will be a blessing to you!

A brilliant piece of work, gives you a whole different perspective on the life of Moses and "our early family". Thanks for the challenges you all faced in bringing this story alive. May Yeshua richly bless all of you! Photography was superb! Thanks to all!

1:09:55 That's how you know that this isn't the Mount Sinai. Moses would not be able to climb Jabal Musa so many times. The real Mount Sinai is Har Karkom in the Negev desert.
@appianmedia3 күн бұрын
It only takes a few hours to climb up Jabal Musa (as we showed). The Bible says, "Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone." (Deut. 34:7) He was "only" in his 80s when he claimed Mount Sinai. God provided Moses the strength to do many incredible things. Moses' strength (or a claim to his lack of strength) in no way provides an indication of the height of Mount Sinai.
