This is just to let you know. I´ve received an old Lenovo Ideapad 110-15IBR, it was bought in Australia, but it was made in China. I´ve read the memory specs in Hardware Maintenance Manual and for this model it is "on board memory". I´ve tested using Task Manager information and PC Audit Tool, both of them said "SO-DIMM", even the maximum capacity of 8GB, my device has only 4GB (2 banks of 2GB). I have opened the case and I´ve confirmed that all memory is soldered (no slot for upgrade), very interesting that I can read in PC Audit the manufacturer Samsung and its part number as SO-DIMM. In summary the best way to confirm if your memory is soldered or not is looking at motherboard, enjoy this tip...

THANK YOU!!!! I came back from vacation last week and was confronted by a very frustrated employee whose screen was flashing off and on whenever the laptop was on battery only. Dell Support's suggestion was to do a clean Windows install. That is the nuclear option, in my opinion, and a flashing screen was not worth it. Your suggestion to install Intel Graphics Command is spot-on. Her laptop is now sitting there with a perfect, stable display! Thank you!!

my hard drive is still making the clicking noise and the disk head keeps jumping on and off the platter,even after i tried your technique. so is it the disk head that is fucked or is it the platter. please help!... and if i change the platter to another hard drive that works will it work?????? someone please give me advice... i desperately need my info

If you guys wanna know why you get startup error is.. because you probably hold the button for 5 seconds to shut down and you should not do this because it can corrupt the files causing startup errors

HELP!!! I installed drivers then mouse was not working.i didn't unistall the installed drivers,then i restarted the pc then it gave me a blue screen saying bad system comfig info.The pc now wont load windows.please help.IMA try installing a clean reinstall of windows to see if it helps

Terrible. Cloned my new ssd drive using your recommendations and steps. I then swapped it and my pc recognized no windows on the new SSD. So i plugged old one back in and it forced me to restore my old drive to factory. 😡 thnks for nothing.
