I will be going 3 Swiss defenders vs England. here is why: (English fan so I do want England to win): I hear you with the England mentality boost but hear me out. Switzerland employed a mid-block vs Germany to great success and dominated the first half 0.64xg to Germany's 0.41. because they could not play through the middle at all, even when they have Toni kroos one of the best progressive pass centre mids in the game. they could only go wide to the wingers and even then had little success. England has shown they can't deal with a midblock at all with Slovenia employing it VS us. This is because Rice is not good at playing through the lines he is no Rodri, he has never been that player hence why Arsenal struggled vs Porto in the Champions League as they used a mid-block too. Switzerlands mid-block is better than Slovenias. It gets worse as unlike Germany we don't have fast wingers or strikers running behind the lines... Southgate will do the same 11 and Foden will want to come central. Kane will want to drop back leaving Saka the only runner...which they can rotationally foul out the game. Trippier is also not left footed so no overlapping runs. this means we wont even get into positions to be able to get set pieces that we rely on so much. so all these players want to come central vs a team with a box midfield with complete control of the centre...they will obliterate us(england) it could be 2 or 3 ....The swiss coach after the game even said that if italy play 4 at the back they knew they would "break" them....we will play 4 at the back too....(this is because of the central control) ps: this "we are good defensively" thing is a false stat. because we have played the least offensively good teams so far in the whole tournament...lowest scoring group in euro history with none of the other 2 teams in the round of 16 scoring goals. we play a good team and they will rip us to shreds. if anything this win will have validated southgate that he can win with this way of playing...the man subbed on toni with 2 minutes to go lmao...he had no idea what to do...

You were very quick to dismiss Austria, I can see a scenario with AUT v SUI in the bottom half semi-final. They're both strong, well organised and pragmatic sides. Hope England do it, but I'm having serous doubts after performances to date. The only positive I can see now it that England have got oassed the teams who employ the low block. This might allow us to play faster and more expansively.

Have you noticed how poorly the forwards are doing compared to defenders and midfielders? The forward with the highest points is the Georgian who's 11th and out. The highest forward who's still in is havertz who is about 23rd highest points total

For example if I have 4 French and 4 Portuguese players and both of the teams get eliminated, Will they let me transfer all the 8 players ?

Bellingham impressed me MD#1, but really disappointed me MD#2 and MD#3. With such a high price tag I´m just not so sure about him anymore. Think I would rather downgrade him to Musiala and replace Wirtz with someone else. The rest of your team is pretty template imo. Edit: The top forwards have been really disappointing this Euros, but I guess there aren´t many alternatives after the group stage.

So you say if I pick my team now and the prices rise, for me they will not rise?

Lets say we get a player at 5 mil and they go upto 5.5 does that not mean the following day if we transfer out a different 5 mil it will then only give us 4.5 to replace him. I get your logic but realistically we are not going to be able to make a draft of 15 that doesnt change to lock the prices before the deadlin as so much will change between now and then. I may have misunderstood though!
