This restaurant was amazing. I understand it's been closed - has the chef retired, or moved onto another restaurant? If he's moved on, to where? Would love to check out any new restaurant he's at.

Who wrote this script?!?! The narration by an old British chap is hysterical - This place is in Wisconsin! The music starts off like a documentary about Native America and then ends with The Shining! What?! Also, how many times can you say the word lake in one sentence? Anytime I am having a bad day, I will what this video and instantly be in a better mood. Bravo.

I was thinking the same thing haha. The voiceover was not it

The narrators voice is very annoying. His hoarse sounding voice, as British as it is, makes him appear as if he smokes.
Wow I am a new subscriber my father took me fishing on Lake Geneva when I was a kid brings back great memories I fish that lake all my life after that looking forward for the next video keep up the great work👍👍👍

So this beautiful old house was gutted for nothing? What a horrible waste. Is she happy she contributed to the landfill problem? One fourth of what is in landfill comes from remodeled disasters like this. Samuel Forest must be rolling in his grave.

A heartbreaking video seeing that the interior has been destroyed. My wife and her family lived in this house from 1954 to 1959.

Beautiful town, but many locals in the area (including the surrounding towns) try to steer clear of Lake Geneva. Mainly due to the rude crowd from Chicago that drive like idiots (for the most part) and storm our stores like they own the town. We're not like that up here. We left Illinois for that reason. Sorry.

Hehe and we think you guys drive like idiots down here. It's a two way street and we're all trying to crash into each other.

@@AlbertScar Please for a guy who is an OTR driver Chicago’s one of the worst places to drive-in seems like one out of every 10 cars have some kind of damage on them you come up here in Wisconsin you don’t see that at all trust me for Wisconsin boy I’ll drive anywhere in the state compared to a day in Chicago!!

Why use a narrator whispering with an extreme British accent? Lake Geneva is in the heartland of the US. It makes a good video very cheesy and cheap.

The narrator sounds like the British nature historian, David Attenborough. It makes this video sound serious and fascinating. But it's all a bit overboard. Although it's very scenic, I don't know that Lake Geneva is "one of the most beautiful fresh water lakes on the planet".

Our family vacationed at Norman B. Barr Camp every summer back in the 50's through early 70's. Recently my cousin and I just walked the entire shore path in two parts. One day would have been exhausting! The homes are spectacular to view and this aerial view...wow! Just seeing how HUGE the lake is, I can't believe we walked completely around it!

Just walked the entire shore path in two parts. One day from downtown Lake Geneva to Norman B. Barr camp. The next day Downtown Lake Geneva the opposite direction to Norman B. Barr (just past Fontana). What a wonderful experience! There was a couple weeks between part one and two due to scheduling of my walking buddy's job.

It's the Boardwalk apartments on the corner of E Jefferson and N Calumet streets. It's a new addition after I left in 2000. They removed Bridge street for a walkway and apartments where the old Piggly Wiggly was.
