I would recommend not to go by what the box recommends. Often times that's a sales pitch on the box. The recommendations as to not shred paperclips or any sticky envelopes should be followed though for any shredder on the market. Also 6 papers or even 4 should be avoided because then one is taking it to the max level constantly. The slider mechanism on the side is convenient for wider bins and taller ones for more capacity and can even fit over a larger garbage bin that has a garbage bag in it provided one keeps the bag snug around the edges. I actually had my crosscut more expensive shredder for 10 years and that was constant maintenance. It finally gave out and just stopped. One doesn't need to go more complex for the extra shredding gadgetry. This one works just fine if it's maintained properly. These shredders go for $7.50 at surplus outlet stores.

There's a problem with the power cord. It frayed for no reason with normal use, 3 times. It does have a one year warranty from the manufacturer. Hopefully they'll honor it

Il y a eu 4 rappels sur ce modèle depuis 1 an. Il m’ont remplacé le bas moteur. Je vous invite à vérifier si vous êtes concerné. En revanche, malgré ce problème, ce VUS est magnifique. Pas trop grand, ni trop petit… on fait souvent de longs trajet et il n’y a rien à dire. Juste déçu car je n’ai pas le Carplay.

I have same air compressor. All of a sudden the display always shows “zero” when powered and connected to tire air port w/o leak. Even when pumping always shows zero. As a matter of fact i’m done inflating 8 tires and just measuring tire pressure from a manual device.

You are not even using it for its intended purpose. Oscillating is meant to be use to cut straight through. Not using it to make a hole....no buenos! There's a tool for cutting a hole and oscillating is NOT one of them you fool!
