I have a rule that the only fanfares I'll listen to are those by HIF Biber. (There are occasional ones in his "Mystery Sonatas." ) This example made me revising my ill-advised dogma. A fine fanfare indeed...Thank you!

I had not heard of this composer before, so looked him up. I was sorry to learn he met a sad end when he was guillotined during the French Revolution on July 13th., 1794.

This is wonderful both the transcription and the performance. The passion is transformed to pipes, very unique. Do you still play this transcription? I can imagine it’s very difficult to maintain!

If so, it would be wonderful if there would be a chance to record it. And this time with multiple microphones, close to the pipe sections. This would accommodate the fast transients and the immediacy will accentuate the passion of the fandango. In my opinion it would be well worth it! Again, wonderful work. Lovely - and I visited Bergamot with John in 2009. Parts almost sound like American roots - probably chord progression at the beginning.

Hubiera estado bien que la sortie III de las Heures Mystique, Op. 29 de Boëllmann se hubiera interpretado en el sistema Hauptwerk de St. Étienne (si existiera) Thank you very much, although I have not yet managed to locate the church. It would have been nice if the sortie III of Boëllmann's Heures Mystique, Op. 29 had been performed in St. Etienne's Hauptwerk system (if it existed at all).
