I’d watch more of your videos but you don’t show what you catch them on nor how you’re set up. You’ll never impress sponsors if you don’t do this. I only fish the Pacific waters, so your methods are different, I think

Could you please tell me what size Yeti that is? I need to get a cooler for kings but have limited space. That seems like it is about as small as you would want to go, but still does the job. Thanks

Great video. You guys know your stuff. We put a heavy rubber band on the net handle to hold the xtra netting back. When the fish gets in the net, the xtra netting pulls out of the rubber band. Again, great video.

I use a Scotty's release that work too. Holding the net is no fun, especially a Beckman with the large bag.

How far out do you have your line with dipsy divers size 1? in 160 feet of water or is 168 feet out for 60 feet down as far as it goes for a size 1 dispy diver?
@PeninsulaPursuit
@PeninsulaPursuit Жыл бұрын
Low divers are around 2:1, high divers are more around 3:1 on the settings we run. So typically if we have low divers at 100 out, its getting 50 or so feet down.

You two remind me of me and my best friend. We traveled from Indiana to Ontario for years chasing walleye. It’s been about 18 years since we’ve been back. Life changes. BUT, we’ve booked a trip to Dog Lake in 2024 and cannot wait to get there. Love the video, keep up the great content.

Great video...I was searching you tube videos for fishing the lakes up by us, and here I find one with Torrin in it. He went to FP with my son many years ago (elementary) and I taught at the same school with his mom, Sherri. Great group of friends all of you guys are. I love it. Keep it going for many many more years! Fishing is the best!

That first fish jump in the sun is the pinnacle. Love it! Fun to see guys fish the rivers I grew up fishing. And just showing us what it is really about, doing what you love, fishing with your good friends While my fishing now is mostly out of state, I do come back with my family a few times per yr and if luck prevails, I get a morning in a river for the spring run. I will be sure to introduce myself if I come across you, there are a few stretches of forgotten rivers that I know may be worth sharing. Thanks for showcasing one of the most underrated fishing experiences the U.S. has to offer.

You should adjust the sensitivity on your TR1. It is too active in this video. It is becoming very hard to find parts for this now discontinued unit. Being more active than necessary adds more wear and tear to almost every part of it. Another thing that will make it last way longer is to change the Biosoy in the electrohydraulic unit before every trip. I think that the combination of the tiny fluid reservoir and the less than stellar lubricating properties of the non-toxic oil kills pumps. I went through one or two every year until I started changing oil every trip. My Sport-Craft 252 is layed out very similar to your boat and it only takes 3-4 minutes to change the oil in the reservoir. I use a MityVac MVA 6851 fluid extractor to suck the Biosoy out. It's smaller than a small sized caulking gun. Knock on wood, I haven't fried a pump in the two seasons that the oil was changed every time.
