no also spear has a longer forward hitbox, this was with 17 speed pre buff so walking up to them is easier now

@@mewdoesstuff well if it's pre buff then that makes a little more sense, it's just that if you do m1 combo then spear then m1 combo again then it oneshots

ye but opening with spear is 15x3=45 dmg, mimicry combo which at this point is guaranteed inescapable from ragdoll is 14x3=42, so that's 87 out of usually 100 hp, onrush finish to refill the charge for 28 dmg and to continue on to next person i can afford to miss 1 spear or mimicry hit as that'd be 87-15=72, and 28 finishes that 100 nicely if im fighting against people with more from ui or stand normally i js gs:vert them at some point which takes long enough for mimicry cd to end, which when that ends spear will probably be ready as well stay in school it makes you better at item asylum

@@mewdoesstuff i suppose you're right. though it's still better to start with m1 when possible, since you can save one of your onrush hits... actually, i suppose killing with onrush gives you a free extra use, doesn't it? so i guess it doesn't really matter quite as much, though starting with m1 still means you can afford to miss more hits, and depending on where your target is it might not always be great to finish them with onrush

yeh also finishing with onrush feels much much cooler then with a simple m1 or spear lol vertical kills are always the best finishers though special targets like legion kata just suck for me but can be countered by walking up to them to trigger their dodge before onrushing to catch them onrush is the primary mobility for red mist and also its best runner catcher other then gs hori which isn't always avaliable you're right tho starting with m1 is probably a safer option lol
