What a useless skill. Cooking a good meal should give a moodle that lets you do more damage or run faster. I've played 200 hours of this game and never cared to level this skill. Typical devs putting useless stuff in the game. Thank god goats are coming before anything fun or cool though! I wish I could still like this game. The developers, The Indie Stone, are so rude and aggressive when criticized it turned me right off. They have features they promised 10+ years ago they keep putting off just to constantly rejigger the same systems over and over. They banned me and a lot of other people for asking about it, and were really nasty in the process. They are a very unprofessional "company".

Meh, a lot of your complaints are addressed by mods. Indie Stone's time is best spent on upgrading the core engine, which is what they're doing. Making a mod is relatively easy, but getting the engine to a point at which it can be modded is hard.

Just a question, if the loot respawn was set to like 48 hours, when i create a safehouse will the loot respawn and override all our stuff that we stored in the residential building?

I found 5 military grade container and found 0 guns lmao. Also funny story while I was driving up the heli came over, then my engine randomly died, I worked through over 2000 zombies for a chainmail Body piece and slightly better backpack 😢

Great video, just stumbled upon it. I also like to add that if there is a Trailer Park nearby, I recommend going there and stealing some floating cabinets. They mount to the ceiling and they can hold 50 weight units per cabinet. Very good for organizing a big stockpile of food if you go raid the nearby Grocery store(s) I personally settled my long-term base a little outside rosewood, next to the Trailer Park and Warehouses at the storage units to the south. So I ended up getting all of the materials for my kitchen there, including the floating cabinets from the trailer homes. (And of course when I finally brought an oven over, the power went out a couple days later) The one thing that been very elusive for me is finding a Sledgehammer. I've been looking all over Riverside and still no luck finding one. Until then, each one of my storage units serves a purpose: One for sleeping, one for the kitchen, one for the armory/tailoring, one as the defacto "tool shed", one for general storage, and one where I store a ton of logs for Winter. I'm now in late November surviving there and I'm hoping to survive my first year! Fingers crossed.

have the buildings in rosewood have zombie spawners? I turned off respawning and drove around rosewood with a car beeping as loud as I can, and then molotoved all the zombies, but there was a whole city inside the clinic

Riverside spawns aren't that bad. I've spawned in houses half the time as I did in trailers. While the trailer spawn is tough, walking to town & getting started is so straightforward. Also, the houses in Riverside are some of the richest in the game, even outside the gated community. Plenty of them have garages & closets that have high dura melee weaps. With a low zombie pop, it's super easy to house hop. Compare that to the residentials at Muldraugh or West Point when getting started
