I previously have 4 years in distribution, and am in my 4th year in manufacturing. I have a lean six sigma green belt , and have experience in helping out in Kaizen projects . I’m about 18 months away from earning my bachelors in business . Is the CAPM or PMP good for me if I want to get into continuous improvement /project management , or eventually a value stream or operations manager ?
@AnnCampea2 жыл бұрын
Great question! You have more than enough experience to go after the PMP. The CAPM is recommended if you are early in your career with minimal hours to qualify for the exam. Go for it!

Important aspect about when Cap is giving orders in a militaristic manner. He isn’t always doing it in this way. It’s because this is what the situation at the moment calls for. He adjust his leadership style depending on the situation. Great video Ann. Keep up the good work.

This episode fits perfectly. I just quit my job, I'm leaving my career in communication and marketing and going into software engineering. I'm 31 so i feel old af, especially starting from scratch in such a challenging and different career, but a road map is a perfect way to clear some doubts on this new journey. Grabbing a pen before listening. Thanks for the content.

Thanks for listening! I don’t believe we are ever too old to make career changes. I believe it’s better to try at something and fail then to have never tried. As Teal points out in the episode, we need to make time to pursue our passions and be confident enough to ask for what we want.
