It’s interesting that so many people in the 30s through like the 70s had weird speaking voices. Being completely blind, I said a lot of stock by the way someone talks. It’s how I basically determined if you’re pretty or not, her speaking voice was weird. It never really was what I would call pretty But her singing voice is one of the most perfect. The world has ever heard.

I got this album at a Hank 3 show at the old Masquerade in Atlanta, however many years ago it was that they released this album. They opened for Hank and everyone in there was floored by how terrific they were- I'll certainly not forget it
