@@ProTouringTV Awesome mate 👍 Does it wander on the road or have you upgraded the radius arms instead of castor correction bushes.
@ProTouringTV15 сағат бұрын
@@ARCHIES_79_LC No not really mate - the larger Utes on 4" and 35's can get a little wander up but this still on 295's and 2" of lift its quite respectable. Still stock radius arms mate with the castor bushes. It would only benefit from having JMACX radius arms though but this is still fine.

@@ProTouringTV Cards we’ve all been dealt, doesn’t mean you have to buy it 🤣 Look at all the kooks driving around in a brand new 79 or brand new 300 series, it is laughable that soo sooo many Aussies can’t help them selves but go into more debt to have the “newest toy to impress there friends” absolutely hilarious. @@MR-hu1bx Mate unsure what industry you work in - we targeted a certain demographic for the majority if our clients. We aren't here 'selling it' ... simply explaining what we've done and why and how they're responding to the mods. GVM and towing kits are in approval processes as well. We answer the phone on a daily basis to people who have done well or continue to do well and want to travel but don't have the time to piece the puzzle together and try our best to advise on what vehicle would suit their needs the best.

@ProTouringTV3 күн бұрын
Hey mate we can’t order the V8’s anymore , the 4 cylinder is what we’ve got to play with moving forward. Having said that we are stoked with the overal performance of the 4
@jbjb33723 күн бұрын
Why did you increase the size of the tyres? I would have thought that the loss of some power in order to drive the big tyres and wheels would be a real downside. Especially given the enormous van that you are towing. Also whenever I am doing tracks around outback stations the cheese cutter tyres are certainly better than wide tyres which tend to push against the desert sands and when deflated still have a really long footprint.
@ProTouringTV3 күн бұрын
Hey mate we feel that tyre size is a great all rounder for performance in all types of terrains , soft sand , mud and larger holes. The torque converter makes light weight of the tyres and we’ve also tuned them up plus the additional lock up kit throws heaps of power to the ground. Very happy with the performance so far

nice build! Couple of questions: hows the solar panel setup, what can it power? And, would you need the 4.2t GVM with that setup (rear bar, tanks, drawers etc) even if towing something lighter, or even rarely towing?
@ProTouringTV19 күн бұрын
Cheers mate . A build like this floats between 3.4-3.6t . You really need the 4.2 to allow for that extra 4-600kg of payload including ball weight of the van. You could drop back to the 3.8t but would almost be pointless

Cheers! This style of setup is more suited to shorter term touring and weekenders. Having the ability to use the tray for daily use as well. The larger canopies are easily better suited with more internal lockable storage. No AC vents in the roof storage unit mate

Mad rig. With the side steps, if your driving on a gravel road do stones get caught into the powerboards and damage any panels? Or is it pretty same on dirt roads...
@ProTouringTVАй бұрын
Cheers mate . Yes if planning to hit a heap of corrugations extended mud flaps are usually recommended. We can extended the factory ones. A standard side step is recommended if you plan on doing a range of travel including heavy corrugations
