When this music was written, most people would never have heard anything more than a home-taught tune on a fiddle or flute. The effect would be overwhelming if they ever got into a large church or cathedral with a large pipe organ and professional musician.

As a professional pilot, a medical certificate was essential to my personal regulatory paperwork. It appears that playing this beast to this high standard might almost require a similar fitness test. As an aside how can the swell pedal ever be used without growing a spare leg?

Eine wunderbare Art diesen Bach zu spielen, einfach fabelhaft. Aber was mich weit mehr beeindruckt ist in diesen jungen Jahren das ohne Noten zu spielen. Klar wenn man viel übt spielt man Teile eh auswendig aber das gesamte Stück ist wirklich bewundernswert. Klasse Tempo, man hört alle Stellen, Fugenthemen und Alle Feinheiten dieses Stücks aus meines Sicht wunderbar heraus. Bitte weiter so. Und viel Spaß weiterhin beim Üben. Viele Grüße aus Augsburg
