I love the bottle, interesting.

I have a love hate relationship with Youth Dew. I used to actually "hate" it when I first began my fragrance journey in my late teens, now that I'm hitting my 30's I decided for some reason to go back and re-test the fragrances that I used to dislike or found too challenging, and omg my gosh! I was blown away and had no idea why I disliked it so much back then ! It is everything that I've been craving lately and fits all the criteria of being something that I would now regularly reach for on a day to day basis, It smells DIVINE when I spray it under my shirt on the chest, clavicles, and back .... I would get the most beautiful gorgeous florals up-rising in wafts throughout the day and I can't help but to roll my eyes back. I think when I was starting my journey I was going for more of the aquatics and gourmands (which are more safe and less challenging) but as my nose matured with age and life experience, I began to crave chypres, rich-florals, orientals, and the "classics" more and more to the point of now being OBSESSED with hunting for them. I only have smelt the current formulation of Youth Dew, but I find it to be beautiful enough, I can only imagine how the vintage would be and I look forward to that day that I get to try it! My current obsession is Amouage Jubilation 25, which is their more French leaning Chypre type scent, in the DNA of Guerlain Mitsouko and Rochas Femme .... Dare I say that If someone sprayed Youth Dew for me for the first time and lied to me and told me that it was something from Amouage, I would have believed it, given how rich and opulent is smells and the regal vibe it gives. I OFFICIALLY LOVE YOUTH DEW!

Dear Thomas,.......Gosh, I am soooo happy that I have watched your video. I absolutely LOVVVEEE the Initial but it is sadly discontinued. Knowing that this is a reminiscent of that flanker makes my heart skip a beat. Will you review more vintage perfumes?They are soul healers. 🥺

I have the vintage and also the current 2023/24 version - there are subtle differences and this will be less subtle and more obvious for those who are loyal fans of Samsara , but in a genera sense , the new version is not too terrible and still suffice. I love the richness and opulent qualities of the vintage, but the new one is not too shabby !

I have been wearing Youth Dew since 1970, I always have a bottle but have only bought two since 2000 as I wear it so rarely....it has changed in the last 20 years. The price has gone down so much in price and it is now a shadow of its former self but thankfully I still have half a small bottle of the 1980s blend which I rarely wear as I do not want to be without it.

I love this one personally... I expected Ganymede to smell like Alien Mirage tbh! perfect first choice for people who don't have any mineral notes frags in their collection yet

I thought I'd enjoyed all your fragrance content but just stumbled over this one and so glad I did! I have a few of these perfumes in my Autumn/Winter rotation as well. Lush's 1000 Kisses Deep is a must have for me but I fear I may not be able to keep in the line up once my bottle is gone as it is almost impossible to find anymore 😢. There is another long discontinued winter favorite of mine and I'm talking in my top 5 amber fragrances EVER and that is Burberry's Brit Gold limited edition! My lord that is an amber perfume by which I judge all amber fragrances but sadly it is all but non existent out in the world these days. Great list and great suggestions that I will seriously be looking into Thomas! Thanks!!

im smelling my sample while i watch the video. I must say I was disappointed once it dried out. Too soapy for my not immersive or thematic. The opening was a lot more interesting for me. #ilikedthepoop

I got a sample of chipmunk and i feel like they made a mistake because its literally like a fir tree very pungent, not nutty at all. It smells very similar to sloth so I wonder if my nose is just not trained enough, or if they sent me something that isn't chipmunk. Its so intensely mascule but more than that, like a cancel.

My holy grail violet fragrance is German brand Harry Lehman’s Veilchen. It’s from the roaring 20s and Marlena Dietrich’s favorite during that era. It literally smells like Toulousian violets blooming in the Spring ❤

Can you reccommend any fragrance similar to Insolence? Not necessarily something that smells the same, but something that gives off the same vibe: vintage, clean, floral, both delicate and bold.... What do you think of Amouage Guidance? I don’t get what the hype is. Smells like a nice floral perfume was sprayed on to cover up the smell of a wet towel left on the floor.

I don’t know what the deal is lately but evvverything in every house seems to have the same type of super sweet vanilla note. I’m really tired of it. Give me a green chypre now because im so ready for it.

I love amouage jubilation. Classy and rich. I use it in the morning and going through all the activities all day. And when I arrive home tiredly and sit to rest, I can still smell the base notes from behind my ears and the smell is theraupetic. I can sit and enjoy the smell and feel relax.

Good grief- this video has been here all along? I’ve been looking online for the older bottle for a year because my mom is freaking out that she can’t find it and it’s her favorite! They just released it in a new bottle!!! And I saw the bottle but I didn’t think it was the same thing as there are about 6 different versions of the same name or almost the same brand line. 😅 I thank you so very much sir. 😂 smh ..... no. Love the review. Unfortunate I find the juice from line is minimal. It's the bottles and concept of bento boxes that sells. Which I can be a sucker and persuaded to buy. Feels a bit like 'emperors new clothes' sales. I REALLY want the bottle with handy travel conversion, but the price hurts my common sense mentality. 😢sigh, I may never own a Floraïku bottle. But I do love the incense of 'my love...night'. I will order refill bottles and transfer I simple glass perfume bottle. Perhaps I'll paint the bottle myself. Thank you for honest reviews

I bought it for my daughter, had it engraved for her, and she loves it. Such a fresh and beautiful scent. I don’t understand why every one wants their perfumes to last all day but accept that they have to refresh their makeup. Just make a decant and carry it in your purse to top yourself off when you top off your lipstick. This is a magical smell and worth smelling different than the same “beast” fragrances that everyone else with an online account knows about.

I love it. I know that many people are annoyed, but I dont care.

Some sites say the notes are for the top: bergamot violet leaf , tabaco blosom , ginger . heart : orange blosom , grapefruit blosom , black pepper and for base : amber ceder , patchuli , oakmoss ! To be honest to my nose it smels nore citrusi , blosom sweet , and ambery . I am not getting any incense or smoky feel to it . I consider Incence oud by Kilian to be incense oriented i consider Amouage Intrrlude man to be incense , but TF Saha noire is absolutely not an incense oriented scent . Is it possible i have an older bottle or some kind of reformulation happened . no church smell what so ever .

Not as sweet as Lily of the valley. I love the smell of lilacs though and that's what I smell here. Bought a small 30 ml bottle today as a treat. EDP for £30
