Carlos is definitely missed. Carlos said in an interview with Southend Theatre in September 2021 “Il Divo is over” when one of the original members stops or has to stop. Carlos explained why that the combination of the four original members voices was unique and magical. It would work only with this combination of voices. David, Sebastian and urs replaced Carlos within 3 days after his hospitalization, they didn’t attend Carlos wake or funeral, removed Carlos photos and videos from the Il Divo website! This tribute is hollow, too little and too late.

@@IneEveraersyou tell this story yet it’s amazing as very few people heard the words you say, Carlos did talk about the 4 combination of their voices and they need the differences to make IL Divo but not that IL Divo would be no more ! But that fits for you as you don’t wish them to be no more ! No one replaced Carlos whilst he was in hospital, Carlos discussed with the guys about getting someone to step in for the tour 2022 as he had asked medical advise re his recovery time line so he was aware this bout of Covid would ham-pen his recovery which is probably due to the damage caused from previously having Covid sadly. Steven had been approached but that was all no one knew what was going to happen, even so Seb & Urs also had Covid and they were all isolating also. Steven was not asked to step in until January 2022 and this was to do A tribute tour, we all know you won’t except true facts but the evidence is within search engines on the web as you always say I don’t have evidence. IL Divo are doing very well indeed and the audiences are loving this tour and I’m sure Carlos would be proud of them. It would have been far easier for them to give up but no they have been amazing all of them and did Carlos proud during the tribute tour and now during 20 years of IL divo.

@@anpar406 This is such a disgraceful comment ! Were you there no were the family no, I believe the guys as they have no reason to make things up, artists do look for back up in case of illness. The situation was different due to the world recovering from Covid and they hadn’t worked for 2 years many other people rely on wages when they tour their Crewe’s, stage management, sound as well as the guys so it’s understandable Someone was approached. Sadly events changed what was to happen but they did not announce this for weeks after Carlos had passed away. I would request you don’t come on and say I am a lier that’s is boarding on Slander and you can find yourself in trouble ! You are a disgrace and disrespect any memory of Carlos this post is a fan whom put a remembrance to Carlos from the show your post is well what can I say utter disrespect and nonsense. Leave IL Divo alone. Stop calling people liars.

Well how can they be the same no one is when someone dies, they can live on though and continue with IL Divo, new music, new member and through this Carlos’s memory is kept alive and the legacy of IL Divo continues

Always that cheeky boyish smile and the occasional wink to the ladies but a truly remarkable voice greatly missed but never forgotten. 🙏
