The headers look like such a pain . I just use truck manifold extended with 2.5 pipe and a vband . Fits so easy

Did you use the entire kit with clutch to swap to ls or can you use an original Colorado clutch slave cylinder, and flywheel with the two adaptor plates??
@ethanhowze
@ethanhowze 7 ай бұрын
You can use the original colorado slave cylinder with the fabbot kit. They're kit comes with new one. But you need to use a different flywheel and clutch. I used the one they recommend on they're website

Man I have some questions I cant answer. 1. For determining wire size from battery to fuse panel, do I total up the amps I’ll be utilizing? Say, I have 4 accessories that are 10 amps each. Do I call that a 40amp fuse box? Therefore making my awg 8? Or can I just use a random size beefy wire anyway? Does length come into play when determining size? My battery is about 4 feet from my aux fuse block. 2. Does the ground wire size matter? How do i determine the correct size amp circuit breaker? Ill be using less than 100 amps total with all of my accessory amps added up. Not even sure if thats the correct way either haha. Im very confused.

I've been thinking of running the original lines to -6AN lines like you did. It's funny how similar your build is to my plans for my truck. I kept the truck intake because from tthe research I've done the car intake makes less power, and is only really necessary if you need the clearance. One thing I noticed is that my LQ4 intake has the fuel connections in a different spot/orientation than your setup. I also went with Hot Rod Fuel Hose PTFE lined braided hose in case I decided to run E85 eventually. Nice job so far!

Looking good. I am trying get my engine in as well. I ordered the flow tech shorty headers and they are definitely a no go. I just ordered the Hooker manifolds from Summit and I am very anxious for them to arrive soI can check the fitment and clearances. Fingers crossed!

I'm trying to wire a 69 vw bug i don't like how the factory fuse box works its hot all the time on most fuses I need the box to be Hot only when the key is on because im afraid there will be something left on and it will drain the battery. The only wire i have found that is hot when the key is in the on position is the Coil wire. Its to small to handle a fuse box and i was told that the switch would most likely not handle the load. After seeing your video and you showing adding a 40 amp relay before the fuse box gave me the ideal i need. If I run the battery to the 30 pin hot on a relay and the small 16 gauge wire from the switch to the relay (Coil wire ) that should take care of my issue. What are your thoughts on it any help would be appressed thanks from OKLA

I have the stainless worx headers too. There very good. Although I also found them to be a very tight fit. I have a t56, and was able to shave a little off the bell housing where the starter goes. I lifted the cab up about 6-8 inches and they dropped right in you may find that pulling the engine towards the front of the truck a little will help with your clearance a bit more. Can't wait to see more videos, keep up the great work and hello from the UK. 🤙🤙🤙

I was looking at those headers for my S10 swap, but couldn't bring myself to drop $1100 for headers. They are sexy, but you sure have to mod a lot of stuff for them to fit.

I like what you’re doing here!! Keep up on the consistency of your videos and you will gain some traction. I have several similar builds and mess around with KZfaq but I haven’t stayed consistent because of traveling for work all the time but I plan to put out a lot more content soon. I’m gonna keep up on your channel. I have a young guy that works for me professionally but also we build cars at our shops on our off time and I have a bunch of saved content to put out eventually. I’m doing a nova and s-10. He is working on some 40’s Chevy trucks with Cummins swaps and square Brady stuff and we have a 70 chevelle for future content. Lots of stuff going on but I gotta keep videoing as we go. Good work my friend keep going!!!
