I wept watching this video. Not only because of Mr. Bixby's brilliant acting, but the thought that a horrible thing like cancer ate away this beautiful man. Just a sudden emotional feeling not connected in any way to this series or this story.

My earliest memories of The Sweeney are hearing the theme tune, and then a bit later the sounds of extreme violence coming up through the floor as a 7 year old who was supposed to be asleep in bed. Happy days.

David said he never sees the creature he's become. He saw it in his imagination while under hypnosis with help from Carolyn Fileds. Twice before and once after they were married.

I always wonder what is it about Banner he's had several people tell him he and the creature are not killers.....do to Banner's personality..........his Co-Worker who died in the pilot episode told him straight out that the Hulk will not kill because David Banner will not kill. his second wife he met who was going thru her own health issues told him the same thing.......Banner even Read the Diary of the Scientance who accidently created the First Hulk "Frye's Hulk in the episode called The First" the Scientist said Frye's Creature is guided by Dale's personaility. which was true Dale was a killer.........but Banner's Hulk is guided by his personallity and Banner is not a killer.......yet clearly in this scene..he does not believe what he was told...........when he says people think the hulk is a killer and one day they might be right...........obviously he is not believeing what he is told.

The Hulk TV series was my favorite out of all his shows..... my 2nd favorite is a show called the Magician. The show is noteworthy in that Bixby, a keen amateur magician, insisted on performing all of the illusions in person, without any trick photography,.

I love the character and storyline and Bill Bixby is the only one to play it right. However, some dialogue contradicts past information and timelines. David only used radiation once, the overdose, and he was presumed dead at the end of the pilot. He never had papers explaining the use of radiation. I know I'm reading into it too much but you want the movies to compliment the series. Bill made every episode as good as it could be and some were exceptional. He made you feel here like you were standing in the room listening along to their discussion.
