The program is pushed across the BBC outputs like a flood. Also on the cover of Time magazine. Meanwhile Gatwa and RTD are doing more interviews that Elvis would if he returned from the dead. And still less people watch it than they did 60 years ago when most of the budget went on hair pomade and silver paint. I don't believe its dead, but the polite thing to do would at least say sorry for what has happened.

Ok, so, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, many of the plots revolved around incorporeal beings causing trouble. Ghosts or demons that had no physical form caused people to be angry or paranoid, and the solution was to get an amulet or magic spell to manifest them and then chop them up with axes. I suspect that that's what's going on here. This guy is self loathing. He has voices in his head telling him he's no good. But you can't fight voices in your head. So he manifests them by projecting his insecurities on mediocre white men, and attacking them. He would be much better off just getting some therapy.
