This was a great game back in the day. I just found a copy sealed in my local og game store. Picked it up that day and looking forward to playing it again! Its like disney drew it (kingdom hearts look) and added the gore to boot! Must have for any ps2 collection.

Realm vs Realm was always the best game mode in any game. Problem is ESO copyrighted the game genre for years and then did nothing with it. Makes me sick we could have been playing games like this for the past 20 years. This warhammer game is what originally made me fall in love with the genre. What game can you start leveling at level 1 in PVP during massive conflict. Don't worry I'll wait.

Played the demo of this game back in the day back when they had those demo discs with multiple game demos on them, looked really sick! Never got to play the full game however, and I might pick it up at some point.

Some parts can be a bit tough, especially some of the later levels, but if you can get the combos down and take it slow I bet you could do it!

Yep. It's not even a contest. Free roaming in an 8man is the pinnacle of PvP in a MMO. I did have some fun in Warhammer Online before they shut down, but there was so much cheese, getting punted nonstop or vacuumed. The ever-present, everywhere, all at once, CC-for-all killed Warhammer. The specialized CC classes is the best system and only DAoC has it.

T1 is always a blast in this game but in T2+ you are just going to get shit on (depending on class) and will continue to get shit on once you hit max lvl until you have a high enough RR to get good gear

WOuldn't you say Albion Online has the best PVP? I mean the combat is so good it actually has made a 1v1, 2v2 and 5v5 full loot game mode.

I hate Albion. It heavily encourages zerging, and non meta builds arent even viable when compared to certain weapons/armors

@@jaredh923 I agree about the non-meta weapons. But I dont think you're entirely right. With regards to zerging, there literally are corrupted dungeons, hell gates and mists of avalon, all of which promotes 1v1, 2v2 and 5v5 PVP. Zerging only happens if you want to do zone vs zone and take part in massive guild fights in the open world. With regarding meta weapons, I agree with you...HOWEVER, some really good players have made non meta workable in the 1v1 modes. For example carving sword. I personally play with the carving sword and love it

The game has slowed down a bit in the past few weeks because of summer but the population usually starts to climb again in the fall. If you join on the weekends a lot more people are online.

since its a EU server i saw that the peak is about 700-800 at EU prime time. 171 is still enough to get in scenarios and the devs are really behind it.

Most of the skills are utility / situational skills, so a player will have a lot of different options with their rotation depending on who they are fighting or defending. People usually have a main rotation they stick to. Also the pacing of combat is great and gives you a bit more time to think about what you're doing than other mmo's i've played, so it doesn't feel overwhelming having 30 skills.

I’ve heard it’s really difficult for new players to get anywhere close to being viable in pvp. Can anyone fill me in on this? I’d love to try it out.

Lower level PvP is a lot of fun and pretty well balanced, the gear isn't as important. When you get to teir 2 things will change a bit, but at that point you will know a little more about the game. tier 3 (end game) is where the large power gaps start to come in. I'd say jump in on a weekend (higher population) and try out a few classes, you will have fun in the starting pvp zones! If you have any questions or need some people to play with, come by the twitch and join our discord. The community in this game is great and very helpful!
