Tears every time. I've seen them several times at the Walnut Valley Festival and this song takes my breath away the 100th time just like it did the 1st.

I know this video has been up for several years, but I'm hoping you'll help me out. I was able to learn the right hand well with your first September video, but do you know where I can find the notes for the left for Lady Sutherland's? Your video is so fast. XD I've been trying to pluck out the notes but with no success. Any help is so appreciated. Thank you!

A beautiful piece of music. The harp should be included in more Celtic musical groups and enhances the melody. Interestingly Queen Elizabeth decreed in 1603 that all Irish harp players should be hung and their harps burned. Interestingly, the British loved Irish harp music and usually employed harp players of their own. But was Queen Elizabeth a queen? The Bisley Boy legend offers interesting perspective.

Lovely video with a lovely song to accompany it - it reminded me of school holidays in N Wales with my Grandparents in Llanfairfechan. Hope you are inspired to write some fine music for this quaint holiday town. Yaki Da, Ailie

what a beautiful rendition of this Alison Krauss song- (melody is based on Neil Gow's Lament For the Death of his Second Wife). I just love what you've done with it. Sung as tenderly as A K herself.
