It was hard to move with a lot of luggage. When you come to Japan next time, I recommend you to use a home delivery service if possible. You have a very nice family.

Yes it was hard! The reason we didn’t do the luggage delivery service was because we needed the baby cot before it could arrive at night 🫣

Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know ants HATE peppermint oil. Wipe down or dap the corners with oil and it should help with the ant problem. Also dab a bit of baby oil on you when you are around a lot of mozzies. I'm planning on travelling full-time with my kids loved watching this the good and the bad THANK YOU 💗

Just wanted to say I've been binge watching your videos 🤭 and I loved this one! Seeing a week in the life of the mundane jobs but in a caravan is really cool. We are planning to sell everything and upgrade our caravan to live in full time in a few short months. We have 2 littlies in tow as well, we are all very excited 🎉 it's been a big dream of ours and finally making it a reality soon!! I love seeing what you guys get up to and taking some inspo. We currently live in QLD, our adventure will start in Melbourne for a couple months over summer and than we'll the rest we will figure out as we go haha. Steph x

Haha thank you! Glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun while vlogging this week 😂 it was pretty chaotic and thankfully most weeks aren’t normally this crazy! But things still happen of course… How exciting! Have you decided on a caravan yet or buying second hand? Melbourne is a great choice for over the summer and make sure you don’t skip Tassie in all of your planning, it’s so beautiful 🫶🏻

@ourwanderingheartstv Haha you did so well! Your travel vlog style vidoes are unreal but it is so fun to see the day to day stuff too. Like reality of living in a caravan, I'm not looking forward to changing caravan bunk beds 🤣 what a mission! Yes second hand, nothing in particular as far as the model. But we definitely need bunks, toilet/shower and added bonus if it has a dishwasher haha what a luxury! So handy. Oh and yess Tasssie would be amazing to see. Is it relatively easy to head over there from VIC? 🫶🏻
@ourwanderingheartstv
@ourwanderingheartstv Ай бұрын
I agree, I always like to see people's realities especially when it's something I am thinking of doing myself! Helps you to get a picture of what it will really be like :) Nice, haha yes the dishwasher has been a game changer! But if your kitchen bench is big enough at least you'll be able to wash up ok Yeah it was super easy, you have to book the Spirit of Tasmania (MONTHS in advance!) and it can be pricey but it was so worth it. It's a 8-12 hr journey and the seas can be pretty rough but again - worth it! We got lucky and had smooth sailing

@ourwanderingheartstv Haha so true!! I'm sure it comes with its challenges like anything. We are so ready to sell everything, live very simple and have tons of time in nature. Sounds great, we will definitely check out if Tassie is somewhere we would like to go. We want to travel up to Cairns at some point,I love the tropical weather 😅 I look forward to seeing what your little family get up to!! X

We stay at caravan parks and move every Saturday so if I need to have anything delivered I just give the caravan park address and the reception lets me know when they’ve arrived :) otherwise you could do P.O. Box drop offs with Australia Post or Amazon Post Box if it’s with them

Some of these ranges look like giants fallen. Have you ever notice that when you see a mountain lying down and then you upright it, the nose, the eyes, the chin, and then the face as though death has come on them- then a fossilize body becomes a range or a mountain or a woman as an island. (check it out yourself- was their a war?

Japan's original country name NIPPON means "country under (or of) the sun," but the traditional name of the country when the capital was here in Nara was YAMATO (WA). YAMATO (Dai-WA) means "land of great peacefull harmony (between people and nature.)“ For about 1,300 years since the Emperor established the capital of Japan in Nara, deer have been traditionally cherished as messengers of the sacred gods of this island nation blessed with greenish nature, until the present day. Deer do not live in Nara Park all day, nor do they appear to be kept in captivity. They are wild deer. At night, the deer return to the mountains to sleep. During the day, they come down to the park to feed and relax. Their daily rotation seems to be like that. They are regarded as sacred animals, messengers of the gods, because of a legend that when one of the four gods enshrined at Kasuga Taisya Shrine in Nara moved from the shrine in Ibaraki to the land of Yamato (Nara), the deer protected and led the god along the way and brought him to this place. For 1,300 years, people have been told not to bully the deer, the messengers of the gods. The deer know from generation to generation, that humans think so and people did not harm them, so even though the city has changed its appearance, the wild deer still feel safe and comfortable living here and they live together with people without fear of them in Nara. We are often asked what we do with deer droppings. The deer in Nara Park are not domesticated, but have been wild deer since ancient times. They return to the mountains at night to sleep and come down to the park at sunrise. Their staple food is the grass and turf in the park. Deer droppings amount to 300 tons per year, but we humans don't care much about deer droppings. The reason is that the park is inhabited by a large number of insects called "dung beetles," which digest deer feces as their staple food. The dead bodies of the dung beetles are digested by earthworms and microorganisms and returned to the soil, where they become fertilizer for the deer's staple food, grass. Since ancient times, this place has been kept clean and free from terrible stench by natural circulation in its natural state, not artificially. The name of the country of Japan when the capital was located in Nara 1300 years ago was "YAMATO" or "WA". (Great harmony between human and nature.) As the name suggests, it is truly a city where man and nature have been in harmony for a long time. So every foreign visitors to Nara need to be aware of the deer in Nara Park are "wild deer", not zoo deer managed by the government. Therefore, it is dangerous to touch them or treat them as if they were domesticated pets. We don't know what parasites or diseases they may carry. It is very dangerous to kiss them directly. The right way to treat them is to live with them as if they were part of the natural scenery, like watching wild birds, like the people who have lived in Nara since ancient times. The Internet does not have a corrective function, so incorrect information is disseminated. There is no “Deer Park in Nara.” in Japan. The correct term is “Deer in Nara Park” or “Wild deer that congregate in Nara Park. Please do not be mistaken, and the risk of trouble with the deer is your own responsibility. because They are wild deer.
