Don't get a rifle built from this place.
@ruvarac12 ай бұрын
Vern, I am sorry you feel that way. As discussed on the phone and email dated 5/10/2024 you chose to void the warranty and take your rifle to another gunsmith. That gunsmith altered and damaged your barrel beyond repair. They used an unpiloted reamer which caused scratching and damage to the rifling, scrapped and gouged the chamber, and destroyed the threads making them unusable. We also had a third-party gunsmith evaluate your barrel who concurred that the barrel was now unusable.
@vernonlarson70162 ай бұрын
@@ruvarac1 your full of crap. I watched the guy use a pilot reamer to correct the problem. In a long story made short. The wrong reamer was used in the beginning and I made sure I told u guys that I want to shoot factory Weatherby ammo if I had to. The factory ammo wouldn't even have even chamberd if I had it. When I got to push the bullet back from the lanze in the beginning and back off the powder and blow the primer completely out of the case and damage the back of the case. That is a major safety issue. Then u send me my dies back to me missing 3 cases that I never got back also along with a note saying I got to push the bullet further into the case when reloading. That is not a factory Weatherby reamer. I don't know what gunsmith u guys learned that from. I know that I'm not a be a gunsmith but I'm not a complete idiot.

I don't see where it said "New" or "Special" anywhere. In the old days I used a blower (green Weed Eater) plugged in to an outlet with extension cord to do the same thing. Thanks for the ignorant reply anyway ... 🤣

@@ronnielipsi8271 And that's where the potential for my ignorance comes into play. I live in the north where I've dealt with treacherous amounts of snow and bitterly cold temperatures my whole life. So, watching people discover new ways to deal with snow is more of a "well, duh" mindset.

I'm also older and always looking for better snow removal ideas. I appreciate your video. I like the convenience and quieter operation of a battery blower. It looks like your DeWalt pulls air in from the rear. I used to do the same snow removal with my handheld Ryobi 40V blower. The Ryobi's intake is on the right side and easily pulls the swirling snow into the intake. It actually shocked my hand while shorting and ruined the battery. I still use a blower for snow removal but only my gasoline backpack blower. Thanks for sharing your videos.

In the early 1980s I shot NRA High Power rifle at a gun range near Palmdale, Ca on the weekends. On occasion I had the opportunity to mark the targets, score and had conversations with two of the top competitive shooters in the country. They were Norma McCullough and Middleton Tompkins. They went on to be national champions at Camp Perry Ohio. I paid 100% attention to them because they were High Masters and I was just a Sharpshooter. I remember once when they were talking to others. They expressed the highest regards for the Hart barrels. If I remember correctly I believe that both of them used The Winchester Model 70, pre 64.
