I remember getting a dvd player when they first came out. I forget what they called it but you would buy a movie from best buy or whatever but once you watched it, it would be on a timer that would expire in 3 days. So if you ever wanted to see it again you would have to pay. Shit was wild.

@@andersondude623 nope. You would buy and own the disc but once played for 1 second on your DVD players you only could watch it for 3 days. After that you would have to pay a fee again. Sold at all retailers with DVDs. These launched with the DVD players. You can easily see how they failed and didn't last long.

Do you upgrade your blu-rays to 4K at all? I’m undecided on some.

It all depends on the film or franchise if I want to upgrade to 4K, spent so much time collecting Blu Rays it would be hard for me to upgrade every single film. Thanks for watching

@@JoshLeeBlu-Ray For new releases, like say John Wick which is the next big release or a Marvel movie (old or new) would you get blu-ray or 4K? I’m only asking because I don’t always know much of a difference or find that some 4K’s will freeze towards the end of the movie.

I would go 4K it’s worth the extra $5, you always have a chance of a movie freezing up if it’s Blu ray or 4K it all depends on the manufacturer. Usually if you buy from Amazon you can get it replaced if it’s defective

Yea you gotta sign up then click on announcements an it opens up a menu of all the movies on the site. The quality is 1:1 for Blu Ray quality
