How would you rate Leopold Halling? I would like to get a BVG HK, but apparently the photos make it look like just a plastic box with doors, lights, etc. printed on it. The lights don't even work, but the price is very high, so I'm not sure.
@ConceptModelTrains
@ConceptModelTrains 6 ай бұрын
Leopoldo Halling trams are quite good but expensive since that only make a small number of models in each run. I have not purchased any of the subway models. Most modellers add extra like details, lights, etc. to the trams.

This is one of the earlier models. I bought it for half price because the valve gear issue. When Minitrains released a new model this year I purchased another version with working valve gear😀. Minitrains models are non prototype but I enjoy using them since they are fun to use. Enjoy your model rail activities 🙂.

Do the Halling trolleys work on DC track? I wanna know before I splurge on some and the website isnt giving me a clear answer
@ConceptModelTrains
@ConceptModelTrains 9 ай бұрын
The Halling, Roco and Bowser trams in the video are all running on DC. The track is Kato HO Unitrack (Code 83). The trams/trolleys all have acceptable performance on this layout. All of the Halling trams run well except for the Vienna ULF - 5 section tram (at 1:15 seconds into the video). It has an unusual wheel arrangement and does not have good power pickup. Great looking tram though.
