All his opponets said Khabib was one dimensional. So what?! He was effective! That's all that matters! Maybe they should say, Khabib was consistent! He's so consistent NO ONE was able to defeat him! Khabib's style was so consistent, all his opponets got the worst beating! Lesson: Simplicity coupled with effectiveness always beats flashiness and cockiness! Kudos to The Eagle! Sad, he retired too soon!

Sad how it ended. If he kept training the way he did back then, he would have beaten Khabib, Dustin and I would have bet on him to beat Twood at 170, I believe that Woodly would have been the champion of 170 by then and if it was Lawler still he would have beaten him to. But Dana called it, when you have that much money it’s hard to get out of bed to get punched in the face

The story might have gone a different direction if Jose Aldo knew how to speak english. I think him being a non-english speaker contributed to his meltdown since he cannot directly respond in a way that the audience would understand. He knew everyone was listening to Connor and were buying into Connor's trashtalk, and that made him feel humiliated and lose confidence.
