Very helpful. Thanks. Same engine on my Lincoln MKC, cylinder #3 is not firing on mine either. Looks like same layout. I was only changing my plugs but now I’m thinking I may as well change the coil packs while I have it apart. Again thanks for the video, very helpful unlike some others

Thanks for the Video, I just changed my spark plugs and they were looking rough. I’m trying to find the location of the fuel purge valve because I was told they go bad on Lincolns and Fords after about 50 to 60k miles. I’m at 58k and I got P0456. I want to change that because that’s the usual culprit, but can’t find the damn thing to save my life.

2017 MKZ Select Owner here. Vehicle at 54K miles. Car is currently in dealership getting engine replacement, coolant intrusion from one of the cylinders that experienced a crack.

I actually had the dealer put in new plugs since old ones we’re getting pulled out anyways for engine replacement.

Hey very great question my Lincoln is going through the same process as we speak , it’s a recall for 2017 Lincoln dealership will maintenance everything for you , you should be fine

Thank you bro I just got a 2013 Lincoln MKZ 2.0 Ecoboost. You have the exact same lay engine as mine and I'm going to be changing mine today.

I have the same car, the 2017 MKZ reserve, sticker says 21 in the city but I get around 17!! Just curious on what you get on yours? Also- did changing the spark plug help with better MPG’s?

I was getting bad mpg due to a bad misfire and changing the spark plug help reach better fuel economy. but if your car is not misfiring or if the coils are not bad I wouldn’t change them , spark plugs should last to 100k miles .
