Sweden: best economy? That is false. I also disagree with employment. It even has a higher employment rate than USA. I would say Switzerland or Germany has the best economy

What is Sweden? A God-forgotten, run-down country, where people are suffering from poverty due to extremely high taxes and low income. The words Sweden and Scandinavia should not even be mentioned in one sentence, because its a shame of, otherwise, a prosperous and beautiful region.

Ny point in comparing Europes gdp per capita to the US gdp per capita is that there is a difference beetween the states in the us in the same way that there is a difference in europe, the difference is much wider in Europe thougt. And even if you compare sweden to the US, the US still has a higher gdp per capita. so my point is bassicly that the difference beetween being poor in Sweden and the US is not as huge as you think

@TheOrdinarySwede well its even mroe stupid comparing the US to sweden in that case. since Sweden is smaller than most american states. texas has 3 times as much people as sweden. And yes there are more poor people in the us than sweden on average, but its different among the states. the US is a richer country than sweden but the income inequality is much larger so that makes up for a bigger "poor" population.

The US is great whoever you are , compared to most places,a poor person in he US would be considered wealthy if the same person lived in india. and yes the same goes for sweden. perhaps you dont know that the average american is better off than the average european in terms of living standard.

@dongyue Det har du rätt i, förjävligt. Men de var dåtidens planeringsideal som härjade, "bort med det gamla och in med det nya". En stor del av bebyggelsen som revs i Lugnet var dock i mycket dåligt skick, mkt sämre skick än liknande områden som G:a väster , nöden i Lund o s v.

Worlds gov's should do something about it. Sweden has very low number of poor people. So idk what you're talking about.

Norway is richest country in Europe thanks to oil. Germany has biggest economic power. Sweden has highest standards of living just after Norway. Well Norway has highest standards of living in world, but we'll see how great they'll be when they run out of oil :D.

@Diablo419 Poverty also means in terms of what other people earn. Poverty in sweden is when you only have an iPhone 3GS and not an iPhone 4S. And ofcourse it's crimes as it is everywhere but not in large numbers and rarely serious crimes.

@Diablo419 Poverty and crimes does exist in every single country in world! Have u seen the suburbs in Uk,France,Holland,Germany,Italy Spain ETC ETC? I doubt it! what one would call poverty in sweden, one would call below avarage in most Eu countries! I have lived in stockholm all of my life! Never seen anyone die on the streets, no mugging, extremly few fights etc and close to non poverty! Do your homework son, sweden has the strongest economy in E.U!
