Not a nice thing to do I wouldn’t think to go back to the scene but I wonder does it bring comfort to you I know couple people who won’t go on the road past where they had a bad accident anymore they avoid it like the plague how do you feel now I wish you well and hope you feel better for going there well done mate take care ride safe many more smiles per mile I wish you well 💪💪👍

It's taken me 7 Years to go to the corner and 7 years to remember bits of the crash. Something I had to do to help me ride more again. Wish you all the best mate too and ride safe.

Your specs were from the pre facelift model,98 on has 78bhp as it is the same specs as the bandit! No bad thing cheap as chips and a better choice for the home mechanic as the clearance are spanner and screw driver!👍🏻

I'm not accustomed to pumping my own gas can you guys give me some information if I turn the pump on and latch it with the gas stop flowing when it gets full on my motorcycle or is the gas going to overflow the tank and start pouring down the bike and onto the cement

@@Smiles_per_gallon01 😂 yes mate not long now weeks are getting closer. I’ve got a Rad guard for the bike. Question on the mirrors. Left hand side you got to adjusters one bottom one top. The right hand mirror is a right thread again adjusters bottom and top. For me I need to fold the mirrors in when going through gate. How do I adjust them so there tight but not to tight to fold in.

I think the bottom one is to tighten and the top one is to adjust but I'm not 100% sure which way round it is and there's no info on youtube about it. When I get a few minutes I'll have a look and try make a tutorial on it

I had the previous gen bike which imo was a much better looking bike and not as heavy … for its time it was one of the lesser powered 600’s on the road as both Kawasaki zzr 600 and Honda cbr600 had a few more ponies, but it was cheaper and possibly more bullet proof than the aforementioned… the oil cooled engine was used in the bandit. Would crack 130 at a push but also carry 2 people and luggage comfortably…. A great all rounder… brakes were a bit wooden, but sorted with braided hoses, and you could swap the head from the 750 to give more compression

just to help m8 i use same camera and no need for the expensive dji attachment, just get a good usb c mike and plug straight in , no extra weight or box on end of the camera, keep up vlogging dude 👍plus you can now use the cage if you wish

Intriguing set up look forward to your next ride out. As I'm new to your channel do you have any set up for normal rider cam as in dash game. Also any idea's for replacing stock mirrors for foldable mirrors as will have to go down a passage way which is tight.

Hi mate thank you. If your wanting a dash cam like for protection like you'd use in a car i don't know a lot about them but if you want a cam to record fun rides and you're not bothered about image stableisation but you want to film in 4k then a gopro hero 4 will do the job and you can even plug a wired lav microphone straight into it if you want to record your voice into the cam. I like the stock mirrors on the duke 390 but they're not everones cup of tea, you can get aftermarket mirrors and people get bar end mirrors but i prefer my hand gaurds on. Lots of choice out there mate but i like the stock ones. Ride safe pal and thank you for the kind comment

@Steve200300 best thing to do is set the stork at the handle bar side ( 2 spanners ) and you can adjust the mirror end. The stork side does occasionally come loose again but I'm looking at using some light thread lock maybe. I will look at a solution for this problem and get back to you mate.

Another great video mate went to dealer today sat on the KTM 390 felt at home on it. Booking a test ride on a nice dry day can test drive it for an hour so looking forward to it. I've got a funny feeling my confidence is going to be greater on the KTM 390 Duke. Also you got a new sub. Have fun and ride safe mate.

Great video thanks for sharing now im getting older i struggle with weight of bikes. I never even looked at the KTM range. I currently have a lexmoto LXS 125 155KG its a cracking little bike. But now ive seen the KTM 390 Duke which weighs little lighter than the LXS and the KTM 390 being 399cc is obviously quicker. Im 5ft 9 wwould that sit well for my hight? Plus what about the fan noise i keep hearing people say?

Thanks mate I'm glad you enjoyed it. Im 5.10 and i can flat foot although it is high you can lower the suspension on the rear, the fan noise i don't really notice it until the bike comes to a stop and it's only in hot weather. I love mine as it's very light and agile. The 2024 model is out and upgraded frame and engine. Thanks for the nice comment mate. Ride safe.

@Steve200300 oh yes absolutely from a reputable dealer, i purchased mine from dobles honda 2020 model it was only 2 years old i paid a tad over 4k. Great bike but like any bike look after them they look after you. Ride safe mate

Your right about looking after your bike they say stuff about china bikes lexmoto have come a long way now 2 years parts and labour warranty that's transferable. I have just bought a 1999 BMW K1200R 103.000km. It has a new clutch (lot of work) and all new breaking tubes. The elastisity of the engine is fantastic. If you break hard, there is hardy any diving on the front wheel due to special setup of the frame. Making the breaking feeling z more stable. Also the gravity central point of the bike is very low due the unique motor lay out and it’s low position. This improves handeling a lot. All this factors together makes this big quit unique.

Mate you have a great bike and i love the fact of the anti dipping from the teleleaver suspension, it makes a great ride and inspires lots of confidence on handling. It's a big heavy girl but when your moving it feels light and agile. I think i will do a vlog on the suspension and handling. Thanks mate and ride safe.
