I still have to give props to Mahomes as the top QB in the league right now. His metrics and rings make that inarguable. THAT SAID.... As a Bills fan, I would 100% take Allen over Mahomes. For as great as Mahomes is, he wouldn't be the same QB and wouldn't have the same numbers, if the Bills drafted him in 2017 instead of trading the pick. In 2017: - The Bills had one of the worst O-lines in the league. Chiefs had one of the best. - The Bills had a RB lead the team in catches, followed by a TE. Best receiver was someone you probably never heard of: Deonte Thompson. Meanwhile the Chiefs had three #1 quality receivers in Hill, Kelce, and Watkins (when healthy) for Mahomes first year as a starter. - The Bills had 3 time failed OC Rick Dennison, while the Chiefs have one of the greatest offensive minds in the NFL, Andy Reid. Brandon Beane has just started gutting the team to begin his rebuild. The Bills offensive roster was a dumpster fire in 2017, and Mahomes isn't having his 50TD MVP seasons if he went there. And again, I'm not saying Allen is better than Mahomes, because we still live in reality, where you to looks at stats at face value. Just saying, we'd be singing a different song if Allen went to KC and Mahomes went to Buffalo. That 1A and 1B would be reversed.

The coach gets fired after week 11, they bench Rogers, and tank with a nobody at QB, they probably would lose the last 6 games if that happened and draft 8 or 10. One thing you didnt consider about the bucs. The offense was bolstered new centerwhich will move hainsey to his stronger position. Wide receiver, running back. Brought back their safety which will reunite rhe 2 safeties when they were stronger. Replaced their faulty defensive players on the line and edge. You skip those improvements and the bucs won 9 games last year. Coupled with only lost by 8 to the lions when the fact the coach didnt call a timeout to allow the team to tie the game.
