I’m sure Poilievre has enough common sense to recognize that our military allies & trading partners in the EU take defence very seriously. Serious enough to take steps to modernize their militaries… now. I’m sure Poilievre has enough common sense to understand that America wants a NORAD ally & trading partner that is carrying their fair share of North America air & coastline defence. I’m sure that Poilievre has enough common sense to not blame past governments, Liberal & Conservative, for the pathetic state of Canada’s military, but, will instead, offer an action plan to get to 2% of GDP for NATO & NORAD. All sounds ok if it actually happens - except for civilian guns(hunting rifle excluded). It’s designed to make money and will make money disproportionately from those whom pollute the air more. If you drive a truck for business, your gas becomes a write-off. It’s supposed to make pollution expensive to incentivize investing in alternatives. Get rid of the stupid carbon tax rebate that nobody considers, and then reduce income taxes to compensate.
