It still blows my mind that Delta still has a LOT of the older build A320s. I flew N328NW that was built in January of 1992 and said aircraft is a few months older older than my ex-girlfriend I took the flight with. As long as it's properly maintained and there's still life in the airframe, I'm happy to fly on a 30 year old aircraft.

My first Christmas! We have home videos at my grandparent's house that day. Now I'm a Dad and an airline pilot. Such a different world in so many ways.

Hello there. You made this video 6 years ago. I was wondering if you still live in the Canyon? I was there last week, it had been about 15 years since I went there. How do you like or liked living in the Canyon? I want to buy a house there.
@reichardtvideotheater427627 күн бұрын
I don't live in the canyon, I live in nearby Santa Ana. That was just an impromptu day trip to the Wildlife Sanctuary. I was there again about a year ago to discover that the Sanctuary was no longer open. It's a lovely area and is still rustic and natural.
@MegaMalenas24 күн бұрын
@@reichardtvideotheater4276 I see. I was there two weeks ago, and the sanctuary was open, I read the sign about snakes, and I decided not to go in as I was wearing flip flops 🩴. I love those canyons 🥰. Thank you for replying back to me. Nice video!

Grew up in Orange. Graduated first class of Villa Park High School. Was a member of Tom Newmans' traveling high school madrigal choir that performed there on a couple of occasions. Also dined there many times as a teenager with my family and as an adult with my wife and children. Great restaurant with excellent food. Good times and memories.

I just read about Zwieg's great cheese burgers and am planning a day trip from MKE to try them out. Just tried Wedl's in Jefferson and their's were very tasty. I''m a recent LA transplant now living in downtown MKE and I am really enjoying the history of WI's long time eating establishments, especially burger joints and supper clubs. Thanks for the nice video!

Hot damn this incredible, thank you for this! My Dad was friends with Ron and we'd go here a lot when I was a kid and this video is like hopping back into a time machine - I can still remember the smell walking through the front doors to this day. With this place as my inspiration, I've been writing a series of essays about desolate restaurants and this is an incredible piece of help. The confused observation about the coat area at 3:55 is something I write about too!
@reichardtvideotheater42764 ай бұрын
Ah, yes....the 'coat area'. A lot of years have passed since I filmed that night and I still think the concept of an open coat area is interesting. Now in 2024, I imagine not everyone partakes in that. Sad, really. The old time, mid-western supper club era was something quite special.

Man i used to work there as a kid in high school. The chief of Santa Ana police worked there too. He was the assistant manager in the receiving department. We once pranked the administration department upstairs calling from our checkout counter phone by asking them to page a Mr. Meoff, first name Jack. THEY ACTUALLY DID and me n the other dude i worked with were dying of laughter. We heard one of the other girls laughing in the background through the intercom system followed by a slam of the phone. The old lady with the librarian glasses with the chain that goes around the back of the neck was coming down the escalator right to our counter and looked PISSED. I had to duck and pretend to straighten out stuff in the cabinets while trying not to explode while the other dude remained cool as a cucumber denying it was us cuz they saw the extension of the phone. So she said, it's probably one of those Mexicans in receiving and started to walk over there to chew some ass. When she was out of sight we were crying. Oh man i miss the good ol days.

Love the turn and burn takeoff on runway 18 in MSN. Brings back a lot of memories of riding on DC-9s and MD-80s from MSN to MSP and DTW. Super short flights, they barely had time to hand out drinks.

Oh how i remember this shopping center as a child. We kids would go to sears in the summertime to cool off and ride the escalators. There was an Orange Julliuis next door and Mayfair Market. Good times.

It was big fun, tasty and a lot of laughs. It's easy and non-stressful to host a Rosca De Reyes party since the rosca is really the 'star'. Other than the coffee, atole or champorado served along with it, anything else is just a welcome surprise.
