It's definitely a nice looking amp; weird that they went backwards with regard to the model namenclature - my unit from many years ago is the TX-8555 and this new one is the 8470.

Nice system. I feel like the bass driver on the Ghost (which is black) is not the same as the regular 4312G. Or is it just the color of the membrane that changes?

Love my 1100X and the Bluetooth functionality with the ML Sub Control app. Replaced a 700 because of wireless signal interference and end of life for that transmitter. My expansive family room now has great bass.

I’m looking into buying a subwoofer to supplement my 7.0 surround sound. I’ve narrowed it down to the 700w vs 1000w vs 800x. I was just wondering whether the newer series is a significant upgrade to the originals or should I just go with the legacy subwoofers?
