I do not often see videos which are pure and utter nonsense. But this one is. The spdif and the usb interfaces have error detection integrated. They will not deliver an invalid data stream to the DAC. Noise on a data line can cause problems but usually you recognize that by drops in the audio presentation or by connectivity rejection (no sound - full stop) and not by noise on the analogue side. Since the cable length and quality is good these days, you usually have however not problems or drops.

The equivalent of making bad decisions your whole life and then suing your kindergarten teacher for it who did nothing wrong.

I spended my money upgrade to a good Steamer Aurender N200 first to get a better source with Holo audio Spring 3 KTE . Big improvement ..may be later will upgrade my Dac

I would never ever buy a DCS product, not because of the review. But because obviously the owner is a HIGE BULLIE!

You should’ve had at least a brief discussion with an attorney. That first communication was just some bullying to try to get you to remove the video quick and cheap. They showed their hand when the response didn’t even attempt to address your points. As an older guy trust me this about one level above phone scams. ( many more to come! )

It seems to be norm today. Instead of backing up the truth with facts, some think that it suffices to say “because I say so”. It’s very similar to trumpism in the US. I don’t even know dCS, but whoever, in the company, uses the “Goliath”strategy to silence reviewers should be fired. This behavior hurts the company more than it helps, especially nowadays with the power of social media. In the meantime, I have no interest in learning more about dCS.
