YC no cue

We love MSC and agree about embarkation with them. We join in Southampton, UK, and get from handing over our luggage to the bar in 10 minutes!!! We stick to our boarding time. We love the staff, never had an issue. We love the premium drinks package. The buffet is huge and varied. We do find the MDR limited to our tastes as in, limited menu so do visit often. The speciality restaurants are lovely. Never had cabin issues. Zero complaints us, just big thumbs up even when full sailing. Excellent value for the money.

if you are following what everyone else is doing and where everyone else is going.. where are you marching too? The same place and position as everyone else? I agree.. every action is a choice..

Family is what it is all about... the modern term is 'community.'. same thing.. your family doesn't always have to be blood.. we are all one if you really want to get into the matrix..

Do want to say though your content and video production is very nice.

Main reason I don’t like MSC is that they normally don’t have any other complimentary food option beside main dining and buffet. Hours are more restrictive with food as well. There are often times when there is no food available. Can’t believe they wouldn’t have a burger stand, sandwich shop, taco stand …..Sometjing!

We've been on 3 cruises and have another one booked. We were on the Seashore and loved it.

They have the most beautiful designed ships. MSC Classes HIDE all the garbage Royal Caribbean just puts out in the open where ever it fits. If I do my 1st cruise, I decided on MSC. Only if they had more ships here in the US.

I was on the Seashore a little over a year ago and loved it, and would absolutely do it again. While you mentioned "one buffet", you didn't mention that it's huge, taking up almost a pretty good piece of the deck and is broken down into several sections. I never felt crowded there and always pleased with the food. And yes...the pizza is awesome!!

I agree that msc is great my wife and I had 2 cruises and they were great we did uk and Barcelona it was the best

I was away on an industrial training exercise in Leeds (UK) My wife was distraught when she saw me in the exec suite on MSC with my secretary, Things are not going so good now as my Boss is also annoyed that I have brought my company into disripute Damn cameras

One more thing I would like to add, did MSC shut down every other KZfaqr, guests or persons vlogging? The answers is No, they haven’t because there are no other reported circumstances or issues like this.

Bottom line MSC identified who they were by days of questioning once they figured out who they were they shut them down. It’s a simple situation, MSC has created a PR nightmare for themselves not to mention here in the US they have some of the worst reviews of any cruise line, so yeah, they have a image problem they need to fix.

Too bad it has inefficient and ignorant management. Would never cruise on any of their ships....

I don’t get it

We have been on three MSC cruises and have always had an excellent time on these cruises. They are not like carnival or RCL and we actually appreciate and enjoy that.

Have only been on virtuosa, but it was so good we are going again this year. It was almost full, but had no problems with queues. Food, service ,entertainment etc was all very good as well

MSC is the new WALMART of the sea, with all the bad reviews they are making Carnival cruise look upscale now.Good for Carnival, I would like to go on an MSC cruise just to try it, but I can’t get that bad taste out of my mouth from all the bad reviews . I know there cruises are somewhat inexpensive, but I would like to get something halfway decent out of it. And the debacle with Ben and David just puts more fuel in the fire.

If an MSC cruise is 15-20 percent cheaper than other budget lines, but the food quality is poor (it IS), the service is rude and unhelpful (it IS), there is massive overcrowding in common areas (there is) and your overall experience is poor because of it, then there is no VALUE to it. Value is a ratio of costs to expectations. A minor drop in price shouldn't result in a ruined vacation. I've sailed all the major lines. MSC SUCKS. .... At any price. For the record, these days, royal and carnival aren't much better. Premium lines and above are where my family and I are these days. Screw the floating eco disaster, water park eye sores.

We love MSC! Beautiful ships, great food and entertainment... I've noticed the bad reviews come from narrow-minded people complaining about multiple lamguages spoken on board (I guess it comes as a shock to them to find out there are other languages than English!); the food (awesome Mediterranean food) and thanks God waiters and bartenders don't feel it's mandatory to annoy you with their attention. Get speedily what you have ordered and avoid unnecessary conversations Americans are so find of!

You know what MSc also gave them a full refund full public apology and they have permission to film ownership anytime they want Because it did make it an international incident and every KZfaq Started publishing their story and I bet the cancellations rolled in in the millions because I know a 30 different KZfaq's who basically did a story about this and MSC it's all the writing on the wall even if you governments were talking about banning them from their shores and I'm talking about MSC cruise line being banned

There are many cruiselines out there. We were considering MSC, paritally due to Ben & David's first video. But we felt that MSC's handling of the situation was exceptionally poor. Ben & David were also paying passengers and certainly deserved the same consideration as anyone else, especially when many others have been free to film. Even if MSC received a complaint, why is that complaint more valid than anyone elses.

Actually Ben & David were giving MSC a mostly 5-star review until the incident of not being able to film. The problem is there were many others on the MSC ship doing the exact same and not told to stop videoing or taking photos.

I was on an MSC cruise from hell last April on MSC Divina; I was supposed to have a $200 onboard ship credit. I showed the customer service desk staff the paperwork and proof I was owed the money. The staff did nothing and didn't seem to care. If that had been the worst thing about the cruise, I could have lived with that, but it wasn't even close to being the most significant issue. The cabin next to mine was full of cigarette smoke that poured into my room under a door that the two cabins shared. When I complained to guest services, they did NOTHING. When I went to the buffet, other folks around me and I saw people smoking. I complained to the staff who did NOTHING! Thanks to the entitlement of individuals who smoked, I got sick with a sore throat, my nose was clogged, and my eyes got red, which ruined my cruise. NO ONE, and I mean NOT one staff member on the MSC Divina, cared. I met a woman, a nurse from Germany on the cruise who complained about the stench of weed she smelled on her deck. NO ONE CARED. I saw an elderly man with Parkinson's disease complain that he had asked for a cabin for disabled people when he booked the ship, and the room was unacceptable. He left the cruise early without compensation because no allowance was made for him. The food on MSC Divina was awful, from runny eggs for breakfast to a steak that could have been used for a hockey puck. I had paid for my laundry to be done. The staff held it for more than three days, and at 10:35 p.m. the night before disembarkation, my laundry showed up - it was too late to pack it and place the luggage outside my room correctly, so I had to drag my suitcases with me during disembarkation. There were good things about the cruise. The first would be disembarking from the ship. I couldn't wait for the cruise to end. I admit the cabin was nice. I had a deluxe balcony cabin. However, I couldn't enjoy the balcony because everyone around me was smoking on their balconies. I WILL NEVER AGAIN EVER CRUISE ON MSC.

THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME THAT MSC HAD ISSUES WITH BEN AND DAVID. BEN AND DAVID SAID, PARAPHRASING HERE, THAT MSC STAFF YELLED AT THEM IN FRONT OF OTHERS THAT WERE AROUND BEN AND DAVID. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY WENT BACK ON MSC, BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS.

The request was reasonable. MSC’s methods of addressing it was entirely unprofessional and inappropriate and hostile. That’s important for me to know as a regular cruiser. I get the difference. But if MSC treats anyone like they did…..I’m not traveling with them

MSCs reason is BS. Litterally the management turned hostile. A complete 180.There was zero congenial treatment. I mean come on.

One of the things I enjoyed about cruising in the 90s and early 2000s was the ability to completely disconnect. Now everyone is filming everything all the time. I too enjoy that content about cruising, and Ben and David are a favorite. IMHO either you ban everyone from filming or you can’t ban anyone. I do think Ben and David were targeted for their previous bad reviews of MSC.

Since when does someone else's "Feeling Uncomfortable" give them the right to say or take action about what I can or can't do?? Uncomfortable over a camera SMH, your in a Public Area you have no "Privacy" and BTW the ship has cameras everywhere too. If i'm at Disneyland video Main St. Do i have to ask every person if they are Uncomfortable with filming?

Great short insight!! I agree, perhaps the clientele in the yacht club did not want to be filmed and B&D did not understand that. We will never know bcs we only know B&D’a side of the story.

I’ve been on MSC out of Miami, last December. As of now, I’ll never sail on MSC, why to many rude cruisers for my taste. Also the crew, seems to not care. But to each their own

To 8kidsdad, please tell the whole story of what happened. MSC, didn’t give them a reason for one thing, second they couldn’t even use their own phones to video tape or even take pictures of each other. Third, thing, it was a business trip for content. So why stay on ship, you can’t write the trip off as a business expense because of no filming. So please, tell the whole truth not parts of the truth to make them look bad.
