Mine is doing the same now, except it was not starting occasionally, and after a couple of turns of the key it would until this weekend. Just got the new starter, about to put it on.
@RoscoPColetraneIII6 күн бұрын
The starter motor (which you replaced) recharges the battery as the motor runs. The battery is dead from not being charged. I found this out when I replaced my battery, only to have it not crank after mowing my lawn twice. If you replace the battery, it runs, but then the battery loses charge, it’s the starter motor. I do not think a continuity test can be done to check the starter-maybe someone can comment. Since the starter is new, you should be able to now jump the battery, then you should be good to go.

I’m having a similar problem. What ended up happening with you and the mower . I’m so frustrated . I do have the 5 year warranty but getting them to come and get it and do without a mower at all is a problem !
@joshslawnlandscape99353 күн бұрын
I didn't find out what they fixed, I ended up being able to take it back and swapped for a SCAG VRide 2. They just paid the BB loan off and did new financing for the SCAG 👍

Clog in vent lines or valve would likely have happened during manufacturing, but not presenting a problem until the fuel level drops.

Sounds to me like your fuel tank is not venting properly. Check for vent lines at or near the top of your fuel tank. A clogged vent would mean the tank forms a vacuum as the level drops

Hey Josh, I have always used non ethanol 93 for my premix trimmers and blowers but never have for my mower. Have you had a issue using ethanol gas in your mowers? Or can you tell a difference?
@joshslawnlandscape993516 күн бұрын
I have always used non-ethanol because it is better for the carburetor seals etc if they sit any length of time and I don't have to worry with fuel additives. I just go about one or twice a month and start everything for a few mins and that's it. I haven't had to replace a carburetor on my equipment yet. My Z920 had almost 1700 hrs when I sold it and still had the original fuel pump...used non-ethanol and replaced fuel filter every 100 hours.
