I've never used the Southern Cross 1 but the 2 isn't a massive tent. It's got decent vestibule space on both sides so all my gear fits in one side and I cook in the other. As a two man tent it'd maybe be pushing it a bit. It'd be okay if you were romantically involved with whoever you were sharing with otherwise a bit too cosy for comfort 😂 As a one man it's perfectly spacious though.

@grsfhhytff I'll deff take that pal. Greenock, Gourock. Many times we took the ferry to the Isle of Bute. What a gem. Ettrick Bay,the tea rooms etc .Once saw a "stealth fighter" heading south from Machrihanish I guess in the 80's was proper into modern jets as a kid and knew S.A. it was'nae anything run of the mill. I will subscribe to almost any channel where you mention "midges" and "greeting" in the same sentence 😊. My dad (Da) grew up in Glasgow through the 40's and 50's did his electrical apprenticeship in the shipyards on the Clyde. I was so proud of him and his generosity and work ethic and we lost him too soon😑. But had fantastic family holidays up in Scotland! Best ones were west coast, arisaig skye and the cairngorms too. Such a gift,given😊.

I also have a really fond memory of a childhood holiday in Arisaig. Beautiful beaches, oyster catchers and prowling in rock pools. We do have a beautiful country. Are you from down South?

I started watching some outdoor youtube vids and ended up here. I love your no nonsense approach, and free use of language. When I started camping, the "vestibule" was called a "bell end", maybe this would be a better name for it? Bests to you Michael and happy Christmas/camping. :)

Cheers, pal. I've spent a fair bit of time down there. Full disclose: I actually quite like the place... Especially that big, ruined cathedral with the Viking graves over in Hesham. I wrote the song to wind up the other bands we played with down there at the time 😂. I take it you did not like to be beside the seaside? Thanks for your thoughts. Top secret location but yeah, with the Gopro! It's not great for what I bought it for but it's amazing for it's underwater feature! I have a jellyfish video and a camouflage flatfish fry footage still to put up!

I didn't like this song/video. I thought I might, but I didn't. I quite enjoyed all the videos about suppositories in the suggestions list on the right of the screen . I suspect that may have more to do with my viewing history than the name of your band though.
