That's my favorite part too! The tempo change and transition around 2:00 was the thing I built the song around. The bass and cello that come in around 2:20 were pretty much an afterthought to the song as I was almost too lazy to write that part.

You ever use East West Quantum Leap VSTi, what are you using now for the strings? Also, very nice composition.

Thank you so much for the kind words! For that song I used a combination of the Stradivari Violin by Native Instruments and the the free BBC Orchestra Discover by Spitfire Audio (but the BBC strings have been turned down a lot and are just there to provide a constant sound while the Stradivari violin vastly changes in volume). Also, I've never tried any of the East West VSTs. I do have a daily ritual where I hover my mouse over the "Try It Free" button on their site for CloudComposer+, but I haven't gotten up the nerve to click it yet. I've heard great things about them and am very interested, though. Have you used those libraries and is that something you would recommend?

Cool song, I like the instruments and the chord progression. I will say though, at 1:34, the first chord that comes in is really deep and muddled, there's probably a couple notes in that chord you can remove without changing the overall feel, and that'll make it sound less muddled. Good job!

It reminds me of the vast forest from omori, a peaceful song but just something about it + the atomosphere of the game makes it feel off/sad. I really like the vibe this song gives off, keep making music!

I've never played Omori, but it looks (and sounds) like my kind of game. I'll have to pick it up for inspiration.
